The Grey Dog is a cozy cocktail bar on Elm Street between Granite & Central Streets in Downtown Manchester. They offer a selection of beer, mixed drinks and cocktails. The place has seating up at the full service bar and a few tables. At the time of this posting, the kitchen was closed and they will offer food again in late July 2026.
I stopped by The Grey Dog after a trying day. I asked if mocktails could be made, and the answer was absolutely! The owner bartender asked me what I had in mind and create a nice fruity and lemony flavored mocktail which had lemon juice, Topo Chico Sabores Blueberry Hibiscus (looked like a Red Bull can), blueberries, mint leaves, and ice. This mocktail was quite good as I was trying to decompress from the stressful monotonous day. The other patrons were talking about different cocktails served at bars in Mexico with the bartender. After I was done, I settled up and I would return again very soon to try the food when the kitchen opens with updated menu offerings. Stay tuned.
They were open on a Monday with an event menu (concert at SNHU Arena) offering limited food options including wings, turkey caprese panini, French dip, Mexican street corn dip, pork belly nachos, pasta salad, potato salad, and chips.
I ordered the Pork Belly Nachos ($16), which had crisp tortilla chips topped with three cheese mix, mango pineapple habanero salsa, sweet heat pork belly, diced red onion & diced sweet peppers & sour cream. read more
