This place has such amazing reviews, so my husband took our 15 year old there. My son showed picture to Jody of what he wanted. My son came home pretty much crying as all his hair got chopped down- nothing like the picture was shown. My son did not even wanted to go to practice as he is so embarrassed! This is the first time in my life I've gotten my hair cut at a barbershop - I followed my stylist Nevin there because he is a legit hair wizard. I'm often the only woman in there, but it's such a cool and welcoming vibe that I never feel like I'm not supposed to be there. There is great music, fun artwork by local artists, and plants and lots of natural light. It's just a lovely space overall. And it doesn't have that "snooty salon" vibe that a lot of higher end salons have, which I appreciate. I book with Nevin online - I've seen many walk-ins turned down just because it's so busy. I also take my kids to get their hair cut by him and he is patient and methodical and very, very good at his craft. I have no plans to go elsewhere. First off this review is a bit late, it has been about 2.5 weeks since I got my haircut and beard trim, and my cut and shave still look good and I still get compliments almost daily..About my experience, this was my first visit, I walk into a very clean barber shop, that is full of great vibes and local art from artist. Diego was my barber, and as soon as I sit in the chair I felt instantly confident that my hair was in very good hands..He gave me the most in depth consultation that I have ever have. Diego was faced with fixing a long overgrown cut that was completely butchered from previous barber..We came up with not only a game plan for my current cut, but a plan for future cuts. Diego was very knowledgeable and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. It feels great to know I got my new barber for a very long time. His cuts are worth twice as much as he charges.
