I had the chicken schnitzel burger and it was like they were trying really hard to make it with a big thick juicy breast, which is good in theory but the crumb lacked seasoning and because the breast was so thick, it took longer to cook, and the crumb was slightly burnt and a little bitter. I ask for without onions and sure enough, it came full of onion. It could have benefited from a slice of cheese also. It also came with aoli, but I tasted it and it just tasted like mayo. My husband had the pork ribs and he said they were nice enough but they were really scant on meat-even for ribs! He also said his chips were not seasoned and had to salt them himself. Our friend had the burger and said that he enjoyed it, but again he didn't touch his chips because they were just bland and unseasoned. Staff were friendly and service was good but the food was just really disappointing. I would have only given them 2 stars on food alone but I felt like the food is not disappointing because they are not making an effort or trying to be cheap-they are just missing the mark with their flavours and need someone to help them out there. While very traditional salads, I just found most of them to be either bland or odd tasting. Most of them are just mayonnaise with some other ingredients. The few that don't have mayonnaise aren't even worth mentioning. The only salad I've really liked there is the fruit salad - but I found it to be inconsistent. Sometimes it tastes like it's been sitting out for several days. Do yourself a favor, go here eat the chicken and chips and leave the rest. You'll live it that way.
