Steve at Cloverdale Shoe Repair is legit…read more I have a few pairs of nice hand-made leather dress shoes I purchased while living in England a few years ago. It was time for some new soles for a repair, so I came here. Immediately on entering the shop, I knew I was in the right place. It's the old-school. Paper tags, paper bags, old machinery. It's as shoe repair should be. Steve has been in business for 30 years and is teaching his son the art as well. Upon dropping off my shoes, Steve immediately surveyed the shoes, to include ripping off the old soles and showing me where the last repair shop went wrong. Not from a place of arrogance, but from a place of skill, respect, and reverence for the longevity of a good shoe. After less than a week, my shoes were repaired to a very high standard, looking better than they have in years. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Steve is excellent.

After a frustrating experience at the Alpharetta location, where I wasn't even measured properly for the tuxedo I needed for one of my best friend's weddings, I walked into the Montgomery store feeling stressed and pressed for time. Thankfully, their associate, Mr. Jordan Anderson, turned what could have been a disaster into an outstanding experience. Jordan went above and beyond in every possible way. When I explained my situation, he immediately sprang into action. Not only did he help me find the correct tuxedo shoes (which, as someone with a difficult size 14, is no easy task), but he also went into the back of the store to search for any suitable options. When it looked like there might not be a pair in stock, he even made calls to other stores in the area to line up replacements just in case. Thankfully, Jordan found a perfect pair on one of the displays--an absolute clutch move that saved the day. He didn't stop there. Jordan also helped my roommate, who was dealing with the wrong jacket size, ensuring he too was taken care of. Throughout the process, Jordan was professional, understanding, and incredibly efficient, making us feel like his top priority. Because of his quick thinking, dedication, and attention to detail, I was able to look and feel my best for such an important occasion. If you're looking for exceptional service and someone who genuinely cares about making things right for their customers, ask for Jordan Anderson at the Montgomery location. This store has earned my highest recommendation, and I'll absolutely return for all my future formalwear needs!
