Since she began attending the toddler program, our youngest (who had separation difficulties at other schools) has become much more independent and self-confident. After saying goodbye at the goodbye window, the day starts with the children together talking about what is going on in the day. The children have times where they can choose to be outside or inside and a teacher is in each spot helping them out. In either spot they can play, paint, work with materials or dress up. It is quite exciting to the see the daily email from the teachers with pictures of what the kids during the day. The thing that surprised me the most is the amount of cooperation and group play that emerges when you leave the kids on their own. In every email, there are pictures of a group of kids exploring or playing house and the kids have assigned themselves different rules. We went to the open house at Spring Hollow and were able to sit in on a day with our son. If you are unsure, plan to stop in and you won't be disappointed.
