I am very impressed with this wonderful school. I moved my daughter mid-March and wish I had done it sooner! We were especially happy to have Miss Jacqueline. We knew her from the previous school we attended and were thrilled to have her back. My daughter used to say she was "nervous" about coming to school, and none of the kids liked her. Sending our son to Goddard was the best decision we could have made. We're seeing our son growing and learning so well both from his teachers and his peers. He's participating so well in all classroom activities, playing with other kids, following instructions and even helping his teachers with cleaning (voluntarily ofcourse)! This school is apt for his all-round development. Love the enthusiasm, energy and liveliness of the entire management team and all teachers. They're brilliant! AND not to forget the wonderful events and dress up days they have, makes learning so much more fun. From the entire staff (including the owner) to the curriculum and activities, we absolutely LOVE this school. Everyone is so welcoming and professional, and from wall to wall, it's extremely clean. If you want to feel like family, come to The Goddard School (Midtown). Last year we left and enrolled our son in a Montessori, and within two weeks we returned to TGS. Our hope with the change was to give a school that extends through middle school, but after missing the whole environment at TGS, we quickly returned. It's just that great! read more

An amazing daycare, with an amazing team of teachers and admin staff, clean, safe and full of love environment! We had our daughter in Goddard for 4 years, from 3 months old until Pre-K, which is about the longest time one could stay in daycare. We also moved from Brooklyn into the city to be close to this daycare. This was literally our daughter's 2nd home and family and we felt blessed for every day she spent there. I just spoke to Christine on the phone. She was very unprofessional and she rambled on the phone saying how other parents are okay with a 14 minute courtesy call before their scheduled appointment to confirm if they will attend and send a new link. Unfortunately, I was in a meeting and could not answer however had been looking forward to our 11am scheduled call that she did not attend. After I called she went on to tell me that all other families call back within those 14 minutes apparently? Disappointing women but glad to know I will not send my kids around an unprofessional establishment. read more

I too have the similar experience as Brigitte. Beautiful clean school with great teachers mostly. My son, husband, and I always knew we were not welcome here. Ultimately it was because of our vaccine schedule but we were moving anyway to Tucker area and saw other schools. The warmth we saw as well as food being provided changed our mindset. Also diversity is severely lacking. I want my son to experience life with all races and esp to see young black boys like him. Way better than Bright Horizons though! Lovely place read more

Wow. Originally I would have given the Goddard School a 5 Stars, and I had, but now I need to write a new review, from a different perspective. Recently we moved out of the city to suburbia where we enrolled into another daycare, and because of this new perspective I have to re-adjust my rating. Here's why: Both my mother and mother-in-law went to Goddard School to pick up my child, both commented that "the kids do not seem happy". I dismissed both of their comments, and dropped my son of every day for 9 months kicking, crying, and screaming. I naively thought it was all part of the "growing process." Day 1 of our new daycare in subrubia - our child did not even cry. The staff was incredibly warm and you could "feel the warmth in the air" (as my mother put it, and as I agree). It has now been 4 weeks, and our son has not cried ONE time. At week 2 he was asking to "walk in by himself". At week 3 he nodded his head "NO" when I picked him up in the afternoon, he wanted to stay! Because of the dramatic difference in my child's response and for looking in hindsight from my mother and mother-in-laws warning (who are more wise and experienced than me) - I can say that the Goddard school, although the formalities, organization, and structure were all there, there was a big X factor that was missing. The X factor is the "warmth" and love that you see in some daycares, and not in others. read more

Very nice new school. My son attends Montessori in Los Angeles, but we had to come to Atlanta for 2 months for work. Found this new school. Small classes, wonderful teachers, and an attentive, creative owner. He's been in school a week so far and loves it. He also seems to be learning a lot. Very pleased. read more

We started our son here at 8 weeks old. We were definitely nervous because he was so young, but he's 1 year old now and thriving there! He loves this school and it has helped him so much socially and developmentally. We're very impressed with the staff and the level of security as well as involvement. They let you know immediately if anything happens while they're at school (e.g. bumps head) which makes me feel my son is safe. Also, it's amazing how almost all the staff knows my son's name and the front staff all know every parent's name. They are really involved in getting to know everyone and keeping the kids safe while learning! read more

Scarlett start attending Goddard when she around 15 months old and just graduated Pre-K this past May. We had the privilege to be a part of the opening of the school and are so appreciative to Viral and the staff for taking such good care of our daughter over the years. Goddard isn't just a daycare, it's a school. With Scarlett starting Kindergarten in the fall, I am happy to say she is well ahead of the curve because of her teachings at Goddard. I wanted to share my experience: The Goddard School ( Midtown) is incredible! My husband's work brought us to Atlanta for a brief two months. The school's owner, Viral was very professional and kind. I love how engaging the teachers are with the students, and really felt as if my daughter thrived in this environment. Ms. Emily and Ms. Sara created such a fun and enriching atmosphere. The teachers' aides, including Ms. Kaira are all so nurturing. The security features ( finger print entry to the building), the cleanliness and just how thorough the curriculum makes this one of my favorite schools! The best part is my daughter still talks about her time here at The Goddard School. As a matter of fact, upon our return to Los Angeles, all of my daughter's teachers remarked how much she has matured socially and academically. I attribute this to her experience with Goddard. Mr. Vee (as he is affectionately knonw) runs a top notch school. We are so grateful for this experience and can't wait to return! read more

The Goddard School - Midtown Atlanta provides excellent curriculum and they expect a high level of expertise from their teachers. Leaving my child with a "stranger" is never easy but the Goddard School - Midtown Atlanta makes it easier. I know that the teachers love my kid and that she as safe as she can be while in their care. read more

Our then 1-year old daughter attended school here for 6 months, until we moved to New York (the only reason she no longer attends). We loved our experience with the Goddard School Midtown, and I highly recommend this school. The school itself is brand new, and so is clean, bright, and cheerful - a big selling point for me, compared to some of the older schools in the city. Each day is highly scheduled but with plenty of free play time. The kids do learning activities and crafts each day. There are two nice green play areas outside. I felt very, very confident leaving my daughter each day. She thrived there. Most days she happily waved goodbye to me when I dropped her off. When I returned to pick her up, she was eager to show me all the new things she'd been doing while I was away. Because she loved the school so much it was sad to leave it. One of the best things about this school is the owner, Viral Dave. My daughter absolutely LOVED him and cried when she had to say goodbye to him!! It was apparent to me he spent quality time with the kids, building relationships with them. This is huge because I knew I was leaving her with someone who'd be a wonderful influence on her while I had to be away. The only complaint I had about this school during our time there was that in our particular classroom, the wonderful head teacher left, and while they searched for a replacement I wasn't happy with the substitute teachers hired. I did not feel they were the caliber of teachers I was paying for. However, when teachers from the other classrooms stepped in, I was very happy with them and the quality of care the kids received from them. I know this situation was temporary and has most likely been resolved since we left. If we returned to Atlanta, I'd be right back at the Goddard School Midtown trying to get our spot back! We decided to give Goddard Midtown a try when our 3 yr old daughter (Zo) was constantly getting sick in her then current daycare. It was one of the best decisions we made - Zo's health improved and she stayed healthier at Goddard, which has always been a very clean and well-kept facility. Zo has been happy at Goddard from day one and loved going to school there everyday. She has thrived academically in the last year in the preK program, where the preK coordinator Ms. Kristi and the preK teacher Ms. Kelsey have made great efforts to expose the kids to a wide array of activities and programs which challenge them and help aggressively prepare them for kindergarten. At age 4-5, Zo can read, write and do math! We are very thankful to the owner (Viral) and the rest of the Goddard family for helping Zo develop academically and socially and highly recommend the school! read more

After being a stay at home mom for two years, I was skeptical about placing my son in school, but this school is as good as it gets. The owner, along with the teachers are very attentive and loving. My son loves coming to school, and the curriculum is amazing. When he is there, I don't worry at all, becuse I know he is in great hands:) read more

When I found out I was pregnant with our first child, i started searching for a daycare facility nearby. I was terrified to send her to daycare but without family living nearby we had limited options. We needed a place that could take her early and have a late pickup since we both work full time jobs. So I started our daughter at Goddard Midtown at 3 months; when I started back to work. Obviously, I was a mess and it took me a few weeks to adjust to someone else caring for my child. But Ms. Lauren made the transition an easy one. We've had a few moments where something was wrong (tummy troubles/eating solids) and I trusted Ms. Lauren to keep me posted on how she was doing throughout the day. I feel like my baby is safe and happy here and I can't express how important that is to us. She is now 8 months old and THRIVING at The Goddard School in Midtown. Infant 1 teachers have been a God send. They have helped with transition to solid foods (I was again a total mess) and it has been a breeze. When we enrolled her it was at the height of the worst flu season I had ever seen. She stayed healthy minus some sniffles and I know that's due to their diligence in keeping the toys, play areas and kids clean. Looking back over the past 5 months, I can honestly say, I would recommend GS Midtown to ANY mother. I can't speak to the older children's classrooms but the kids seem happy and are always playing on the play ground when I go to pick her up. I can't say enough about how much we love the Goddard school's curriculum, she is learning so much! The Midtown location has been such a blessing for our family. read more
