The space is huge and beautiful compared to other apartments and the amenities are wonderful. The office staff here is gracious, hard-working and attentive. From the outside Pendale Towers appears to be a run of the mill red brick building but my hallway and apartment has been renovated nicely. This is my first Yelp review but much deserved.

After having tours at other apartment complexes where I was rushed through units, told I couldn't see models before signing, and told that no parking would ever be available, Paris was an absolute breath of fresh air. She was the only leasing agent to give me well over two hours of her time just to make sure that I saw every available unit and had all my questions answered. She spent time with me deciding on my budget and what I prioritize in a Unit before choosing which to have me walk through. It was great to finally have someone who did not insist on showing me Units far out of my budget and not constantly pressuring me to increase my price. Being able to have a candid conversation about my idea price and maximum limits made everything so much less stressful and helped me find a Unit I love. More than anything, the fact that Paris lives in the building herself is what convinced me to sign a lease here. She was able to give me such honest, practical advice that you only can get from having been a resident there yourself. Do yourself a favor - set up a tour here! It will easily be the best Southside leasing experience that you have. And trust me, some of the Units are incredible!

We get regular emails updating us on snow removal, or any type of work being done on the property. The buildings have gotten cosmetic lifts since the new management took over. Also - I had a very heavy package delivered & I live on the ground floor. I had no one to help me carry it down & two men from the leasing office brought it down & into my apartment for me. I am blown away by how great it is now compared to when the previous management company was here. I've lived here a year & a half & am very happy.

I initially paid my $550 for the credit and background check and for the security deposit. After about a week of providing my application and security deposit, I was told that due to my credit, I would need to pay an additional $1350 as a security deposit. My credit is around 670, so I understood the extra security requirements. Then two days before I move in, after I paid a security deposit for my electric service and started renters insurance, I was told that I was being denied due to my credit. They simply just said "you can come get your money orders" which were filled out to them smh. I have to send the $1350 worth of money orders back to western union and that can take up to 30 just to receive my money back. If you are a person of color, I advise to please don't waste your time, money and please don't put you dignity on the line for a place like this. Scott and Jack were great up until this point and then they were cold and uncaring. By the way, I have no clue who's credit report they had but it was not mine. The report they provided me had a score of around 550. None of my three scores are 550. I know this is a blessing in disguise but I hope someone can learn from my experience and don't waste your time if you are a person of color and specifically African American.

This place was a dream compared to where we lived before in Washington (if you're thinking of…read morerenting from Lobos Management, do yourself a favor and just say no!)! The apartment was clean when we moved in and they had installed new carpet and a brand new stove. The Property Manager was lovely! She answered all questions in a timely fashion and handled all issues within 24 hours, even on the weekend (examples - A/C stopped working, fixed the next day; broken toilet, fixed within 2 hours on a Saturday). Since we moved in, they have repaved the parking lot twice, installed new washers/dryers in one laundry room and installed new kitchen cabinets in our apartment. Just prior to moving, they repainted the patios and stairs. The Maintenance Person is really great and he does a fantastic job. Our rent increased a total of $10 in 3 years, and was not going to be increased if we signed a new lease. The only reason we didn't stay longer is because we had saved up enough money to buy a house. If I ever had a need I would certainly rent here again.
