I often find myself in this shop buying basic kitchen supplies and interesting brightly coloured gadgets that catch my attention. It has every conceivable type of crockery you could ever want as long as it is in white.
Anyway, I was in there the other day trying to find a present for my daughter's boyfriend who is an enviable cook. I was greeted by many friendly, smiling staff members and then Luke took over, well I knew I was in good hands because like my daughter's boyfriend, Luke informed me he just loved to cook! As he was about the same age as Peter, I asked him what he would like to get as a gift. He instantly showed me a stainless steel mixing bowl that was so strong it could also serve as a crash helmet should the need arise.
I was so impressed, mainly because I really didn't have a clue what to buy and it was so helpful having someone who knew his cookware. The store is not particularly cheap but not too expensive either. I would say it is probably targeted at the more serious cooks among us. read more
