How can I give anything less than 5 stars to the rescue that likely saved our pup's life and then…read morewent on to introduce us to her? Two years ago, we decided to expand our family and since our cat hates all other felines...a pup it was. Our search began at petfinder.com which is how we found both our dog and Ladybugz K9 rescue. The family run rescue was very helpful, making sure to provide us with directions since their location seems to trick GPS. They work to get rescues from Amish puppy mills and from what I can tell, they do a fantastic job socializing the animals. In fact, when we walked into the area where the pups were, ours was excited to see us and standing on her two hind legs waving. Some of the other puppies were timid and it was explained that they had just been brought to the rescue the day before and they give them about 24 hours to get used to their surroundings and then they begin "hug therapy." In the two years since, we have been able to enjoy a happy, healthy, loveable dog...what could be better!

For years I refused to adopt a dog because i knew how much work went into them. Its just like having children. Long story short the time came to adopt a pup and I couldn't be happier! Roxie (rescue name Fiona) has been a blessing in my life. She just turned 3 in May and I can't imagine what life would be like without her. This rescue gave me a healthy active loving little girl on the fourth of July 2010 and to this day my little firecracker pup is spoiled rotten! I was told she was a pomeranian maltese - and it turned out she is pomeranian papillon which makes her even more fun!Thank you so much Ladybug K9 Rescue! I couldn't be happier

I love this vet. My cat has had a growth on her side for a few months. The two vets I took her to…read morebefore felt like they weren't communicating with me or were looking for a "quick fix" or drugs to throw at her in hopes the problem would be solved. Dr. Nancy Irvine is wonderful. She went over my cat's vet and health history with me very thoroughly before taking a blood sample and some skin scrapings for testing. She talked to me like I'm an intelligent adult and shared with me her line of thinking every step of the way. She answered my emails in a timely manner and always felt like she was presenting me with every option available. The diagnostic tests were kind of expensive as well as treatments and further testing, but my cat is my baby and I'd do anything to help her feel better. The facility is nice and clean with a big reception area and exam rooms. All of the staff I encountered are very nice and helpful. They even called me the day after my cat's growth removal to make sure that she was responding well to the medications she was given. I very much recommend them.

We went for a meet & greet with "Willow" the baby owl from Berkeley Springs, WV when she first arrived to the sanctuary. A lot of information thrown out & a decent amount of time to just watch her.

We no longer recommend this daycare. After 3 years of our dog attending regularly, we were shocked…read moreto learn he was "permanently dismissed." During all that time, we were only ever informed of one incident -- over a year ago -- which was described as a brief "scuffle" while several dogs went through a gate together. We were told there were no injuries, and after a short break, our dog returned to play with no further issues. There were no other incidents that day or at any other time until we were informed of his dismissal when we picked him up at the end of the day. Since his dismissal, we've made multiple attempts to get details about any other incidents and were denied. We even tried to speak directly with the practice owner and veterinarian, but she never responded. This has been extremely disappointing. As responsible pet parents, we wanted to understand what happened so we could address any behavioral issues -- but we were given no opportunity to do so. After years of loyalty to both the clinic and daycare (with as many as three dogs in their care at a time), the lack of transparency and unwillingness to communicate has left us questioning everything. They denied us any chance to correct behavior and keep our relationship as customers, and the practice owner's silence speaks volumes about how little they value long-term clients.
