And they brought out pickled veggies while we waited. The pickled green almond was a really nice and pleasant surprise. I could have just eaten that. Overall, phenomenal food! Tap water was brought to the table infused with cucumber. We ordered so much food (I totally forgot to take pictures). The calamari was a good portion and it came with a side of garlic aoli. We ordered the mixed grill and it came with sausage, chicken thighs, lamb chop & kofta over a bed of feta fries (extra charge) with a side salad. Everything was grilled to perfection. If you like it spicy, have them put their chili sauce on, in addition to the tahini sauce. They add all types of delicious salads to the falafel, along with hummous and the sauces. My husband and I eat there every chance we get, and thoroughly enjoy it - as have the guests we have brought there! We highly recommend it!

The pizzas were all amazing, we had a selection including Margarita, Siciliana, Parmigiana, Vesuvio and Pepperoni (a favourite with the kids) - they finished every last crumble. We also had Insalata verde (green salad), which was crisp, fresh and nicely dressed. The house red has bold Sicilian notes, exactly as it should do. Overall fantastic, welcoming and fast service, great atmosphere and food! Not sure the other customers appreciated 15 kids next to them on a Sat night, but hey, we tried to be on our best behaviour. (I don't like chain restaurants as the food tends to be bland and devoid of character, hence this choice.) The kids gave it five stars as well. Highly recommended! Btw the coffee's good, too (not to mention one can practice one's Italian ;)))))))

Menu is a mix of British classics and Turkish dishes. Ended the meal with cheesecake made of black cherries and mascarpone, quite like this take on a cheesecake. Served in a round shape. I actually thought based on the name this would be a Greek place. Service needs some improvement, there is one lady that comes across as quite surly and not approachable.
