The matcha I bought wasn't very tasty, but I'm willing to go back and support local to try their coffee next and update my review. There are three tables for public use without a child admission, so may not be the best place to hang out on a busy day in case you can't find a table, but probably worth grabbing a drink to go for the convenient location. They do have a short list of providers and offer classes which is a wonderful use of space for the mom community.

They have a lap pool and they also have a warmer pool that includes a lazy river and a couple of lap lanes, along with the children's play area. We were there on a weekday afternoon well swim lessons were going on, but had plenty of space to use one lap lane and the lazy river. They have a set of steps to enter by the lazy river and they have a chairlift that enters into one of the lanes. There's also a hot tub that has steps with a rail to get in. In the family locker room there are two accessible changing rooms with a bathroom and shower, including a shower bench and adjustable showerhead. They have an automatic door opener, which is phenomenal, however, the lock is up pretty high, which makes it less accessible for wheelchair users, and short people. there are two other changing rooms in the family locker space that don't have the automatic button, adjustable showerhead, or shower bench, or grab bars on the toilet, but are still fairly large and have space for a wheelchair user There was plenty of accessible parking and automatic doors to get into the building. The space exiting was pretty tight due to how they have the chairs arranged, somebody with a larger wheelchair may have to exit through the entry lane. We also used the steam room, there was no automatic door, but the door wasn't terribly heavy. If you want to play racquetball, you can check out Paddles from the front desk, workout classes upstairs, they even have kids events after hours. If you are working out and have children, make sure to drop them off in the children's pavilion while you work out and then you can take them into the pool, which does include a waterslide and a lazy river. If you want to go swim laps, they do have an open lap pool on the opposite side away from the kid pool, which is nice. There is no outdoor pool, which is the only downfall.

We rented the Active Adult Center's Prospect Hall for a corporate event and we were so impressed!…read more First of all, Megan was regularly helpful about communicating with us before the event, which really helped with planning. Michelle made sure that she was available to speak to our staff about Wheat ridge's recreational services, and to promote physical wellness resources. The woman who was there in the morning who helped us set up (whose name very unfortunately escapes me) jumped right in and was so proactive you would have thought she was one of our staff members. Eric stayed and helped us clean far and above the duties of his job, and he worked even harder than our own clean up crew. You cannot find a more helpful crew. The space was affordable priced and well-maintained, and they will give you access to any resources they have that can help make your event great. They have an attached kitchen, service entrance, A/V equipment, and a stage that works great for a corporate setting. They give you access to 18 large, oval tables and four long, rectangular tables. There are enough chairs to seat the room's capacity. We had about 110 staff members and had the room equips with vendors and vendor tables. For our needs, he venue was a bit too small. If we did not have vendors it could have seated 110 pretty comfortably, though. Overall, I am incredibly pleased with the staff, space, and accommodations of having rented with the Active Adult Center. Definitely a great choice for a corporate event, anniversary party, or meeting space!

Cardio room has a dozen different types of machines with multiples if each. Circuit room has 14 machines to help work every muscle group. Main weight room has it all and is often the busiest place. Mornings are quieter here and I like that. Large pool with four lanes for lap swim in the mornings. Large clean locker room. Upstairs is a full basketball court and well equipped space for floor work. Often pick up games are happening upstairs. The local amateur boxing club workouts out here with a full boxing ring and workout area. Staff are friendly but generally busy with something behind the desk.

There is a large board (like a paddle board) and it is held in place and you exercise on it. It was crazy fun but it was a workout I felt for sure.
