The Frontier Inn is in the old Blaine Creek Grill location and is run by the folks that own the Salty Calf catering company in Kalispell. For now, the restaurant is open Thursday through Saturday every other week. You can check the schedule on the Salty Calf's instagram feed or call the Salty Calf location for schedule. Now on to the food. They are currently offering a limited menu with approximately 6 to 8 entrées on our visit. We had smoked prime rib, marinated chicken thighs over rice, and shrimp and scallop skewers over orzo. Each entrée was thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and well presented. There were other items on the menu like pasta Bolognese, Smashburger sliders, and a very flavorful queso dip. Oh, and I forgot to mention the unbelievable sticky toffee pudding for dessert. They have a limited bar selection right now, but you can get most types of mixed drinks, but it's a limited selection. They plan to expand that in the coming weeks.
