DO NOT USE. **Took our Money and Our Cabinet Door and Ran!!!**…read moreLet me save you the trouble and tell you to find a better company!!!! To give a brief timeline of our time with Mr. Kevin here is a breakdown. We requested details from a quote on facebook to discuss a quote to restain our kitchen cabinets to a darker stain. He provided a rate that evening after I had sent him pictures of our kitchen. He had then sent me a contract asking for us to sign prior to services. The picture of the contract was far too blurry to read. We then asked that he actually come to our home to discuss his process and answer some questions that my husband had. We booked for that next day. I had asked that he bring this with him for us to go over during our meeting. Due to his scheduling, he asked to reschedule that evening to the following night. He came to our home and met with my husband stating that sanding would occur to get our desired stain color. My husband gave him with a cabinet door for him to test a few colors of stain and to bring back for us to see and choose. A few days later after checking on the status I asked for him to meet again to show us the tested cabinet and for us to schedule dates. He said that he was working on our cabinet and would meet with us that Thursday. Upon arrival, he came with my cabinet door that had been sanded poorly with marks from the sander embedded into the wood, and stain containers. Rather than a completed stained cabinet door for us to choose the final stain color for services. He laid down a few towels on my garage floor and tried to stain the cabinet while here at my residence stating that it would get darker after it dries and another coat was placed on it. I asked about the sealer option and final "feeling" of the restain and he said it would be sealed. His helper that he brough inadvertently spilled the container of stain all over my cabinet door, and garage floor. My mother and I had to clean this up. When I asked Kevin why the cabinet hadn't been stained prior, he said he's busy with bookings and couldn't get to it. I was concerned about the sanding quality and the long term effect/feel of my cabinets. He said that he was going to restain it and work on it more and bring it back to us for final choosing again. We finally got a picture a week later of a half stained cabinet. While the overall color was more along the lines of what we are looking for, you could still see the sanding marks and brush strokes from the paint brush. We asked yet again to see it in person. He gave us his current customer's address and asked that we go there to meet. We went there that evening and discussed him spraying the stain rather than painting to avoid any brush strokes. And discussed the sealer quality and final feeling. He mentioned that his helper had sanded our cabinet at 60 grit sand paper, essentially ruining our cabinet because the marks are too harsh to get out. Yet again, he began working on the cabinet with us there, rather than having this completed prior to our meeting. (Sealer wise). After leaving the customer's residence, my husband and I discussed further and determined that we were still within the time constraints of the contract to cancel his services due to the quality of work he had already provided. I messaged Kevin that evening expressing our concern and that we would be cancelling his services prior to the 72 hour notification. He confirmed that we would be receiving all but the $500.00 of our deposit back and that my husband could meet with him to pick up our cabinet the following Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and nothing. His fiancé has declined my Venmo requests for our refund back after Kevin confirmed that she would be sending it. We have now gone TWO weeks with unanswered voicemails and text messages daily to receive our refund and our cabinet door back. We are now in the process of going to small claims court to try and get our money back. TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE QUALITY. If I could rate a 0 I would.
