I was hesitant on the soup of the day, and he offered to give me a taste test before committing to a decision. *Unfortunately I only remembered to take pictures halfway through the meal* Overall, the food was great. If you're craving Mexican food, I think this is a great option. The portion size was great as they don't skimp on the toppings for your taco/burritos. It may be because I went during Monday lunch, but a lot of the options on their website were not available that day (Ex: Enchiladas and Burrito Ahogado).

They seemed to have interesting options on the menu ranging from sandwiches to other small or shareable dishes. Read somewhere bread was from the Collingwood Bread Company. I always enjoy locally made baked goods. Latte and matcha latte were solid. Stole a bite of the smoked trout sandwich - if you love one of those smoked salmon creamy tangy spread sandwiches this is definitely a good one. Pictures not taken are the grilled cheese and cheese scone. Smoked cheese was used in the grilled cheese sandwich. I enjoy all kinds of cheeses so I was pleased with the smoky kick. Cheese scone was not heated up properly and somehow the cheese, despite looking like a typical golden cheddar, was not flavourful at all. Dough base of the scone lacked the buttery, flaky texture. I'd say skip it. Hm honestly this place deserves more reviews.

For 3 people as snack we shared the cheese platter for 2 ($23.95) and added charcuterie ($7.95). It came with 4 cheese selections. The bleu brie was the best! It also came with 3 types of crackers and bread, along with some dried fruit. The charcuterie came with a few slices of salami, a small piece of pate and 2 rolls of pickled green beans. It wasn't the best charcuterie choice but the cheese was excellent. Their slightly curried chutney was also nice. The atmosphere was cute, they had a lot of selection in their cheese fridge to purchase and other food items in the store. The service was a bit sassy but not too bad, we never felt rushed. While we were sitting at the bar we watched them assemble many huge cheese party boards with customers coming in to pick them up and they all looked so beautiful!
