In the past, I have had cross stitches framed and/or stretched in the city, but since I now work in Somerton Park I wanted to find somewhere more local. I came here first for a quote, which they happily supplied - I had designed a cross stitch, and my customer wanted to get it framed before sending to her (if the price was right). I chose a very simple black frame with no glass (I didn't want my stitching squashed under glass!), and my customer agreed that it was an excellent price. It's always nerve-wracking when you don't know how your work is going to turn out - when I picked it up, I was completely blown away - it looked FANTASTIC!! I have since recommended this place to others, and will definitely be taking future works there too!

The have photos of Adelaide in its early days, as well as some beautiful shots of iconic European cities. The sizes and prices of the prints make them very accessible, and easy to fit onto a wall without having to make it a huge feature. I also like their framed Gustav Klimt prints, which are also a good size and would make a great gift. The framing is done elsewhere, so the rest of the shop is filled with decorative statues and vases and other home decor. Their style is quite eclectic, and I see something different in the window whenever I pass. Some of it I like, though some seems a little out of place. Most of it is very modern, in contrast to the classical look of the photography. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their work is good quality, and it's nice knowing that a local business is taking care of your framing and will be accountable for the job.

The store is average size, but filled with items that are a little different from what you are likely to find elsewhere and they take a considerable amount of pride in their stock. They took considerable time and care in assisting me to select an appropriate tone and hue for each of the frames so as to complememnt the work. They also did not try and sell me the most expensive thing on offer, but rather worked within my budget. I have also got quotes over the phone from them in a fraction of the time it takes for other companies to do the same.
