Since Texas is unregulated in foundation repair, I wanted to make sure that we weren't going to be taken to the bank....again! Our home sank almost 3 inches around one side of the house and two corners. It was also heaving in one area where we had too much water and not enough drainage. When called, they promptly came out not only to take elevations and give me a quote but also to explain to me why my foundation was sinking and what I can do about preventing such things happening to the rest of my house in the future. David helped me understand why my house was heaving at one corner and gave me accurate information to correct the problem immediately. There was minimum excavation, both interior and exterior piers, and all was neatly put back into place. Whatever you do - stay away from concrete piles - they are not a permanent solution in Texas' expansive soils! I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE!!! Also, stay away from look-a-likes... Their competitors' "steel piers" are really just used up pipe from the oilfields. They won't even tell you that unless you specifically ask where they get their steel. Perma Jack's steel in manufactured specifically for this use and is ASTM stamped for quality.
