This is a difficult review to write, because, like many flower-senders, I may never see this shop in person. However, it was the most local florist to where I wanted flowers sent, so I selected a local florist. Like many flower shops, the website was pretty awful and unhelpful to navigate, but I selected a basket of flowers and paid through the website. Afterwards, I received a pop-up saying I needed to physically call the store to complete the transaction. Well, this basically defeats the entire purpose of using an online system, but 'gotcha!'- there was little choice now that I had already paid for my delivery. The person who picked up told me that she would make a beautiful basket but it wouldn't look exactly like the one in the picture. I said that was fine, but could she send me a picture so that I could see what was sent. She also wanted the code on the back of my credit card, which I had already input online. Next day, I received a voicemail asking for me to call the store again- she had forgotten the code from my card. No big deal - this could happen to anyone - but then I asked when I would get the email with the photo, and she told me she had neglected to take a photo. The person I sent flowers to is unable to send me a picture and is in very poor health. Therefore, I'll never know what I sent- the size, the look, nothing. I was pretty annoyed on the phone, because it seems outrageous to never see what I purchased. I plan to send flowers regularly, so not sure if I will call this florist again. On thinking about it later, I wonder if most of the orders that come in are people from afar who also wants pictures sent in. I am surprised pictures are not taken just as proof, and also to know what was last sent to a client, but I guess without a system for doing this, it could take a lot of extra time to take coordinate taking and sending out photos. I ordered the Deluxe- Beautiful in Blue flower arrangement for my mother's 83rd birthday. i received a call from Lori, who stated, "she was too tired and needed a break," so my order was cancelled and wasn't going to be delivered. very disappointed. Not a reliable company IMO. read more

This is my florist from now on - beautiful bouquet and wonderful customer service! My Mother just moved to the area and I wanted to send her flowers for her birthday. I looked online and Yelp at several flower shops in the area and picked The Flower Company. You do need to call or they will call you after the order which I actually liked speaking to an actual person. One of the flowers in the bouquet was not available and Lori asked if I minded another similar flower. She sent the pictures and they were better than what I picked out! She let me know when they would be delivered and even texted me when she dropped them off. She has my business from now on and I will be telling all my family that lives in the area. read more

Flowers for my birthday ordered by a friend via the internet. Didn't arrive on my birthday. Friend called to ask where the flowers were. Was told they had been delivered. NO THEY WEREN'T. The flowers arrived the next day. They looked like they had been hastily stuffed into the vase. I took them out to split them into 2 vases. The stalks on most of the flowers looked like they had been broken and ripped. Some of the end of the stalks were black. The pieces of fern started shedding within 2 days. read more

We were taking a trip for my wife's birthday, and I wanted to surprise her with flowers. I ordered through Teleflora and was a bit anxious because twice my orders were very poorly executed and these would be delivered to the inn where we would be staying. Usually, Teleflora does rather well, and this time, the flowers were perfect. THE FLOWER COMPANY put together a selection of roses, lilies, gladiolas, carnations, and other assorted blooms and greenery that was astonishingly beautiful. It was a gorgeous explosion of colors that far exceeded my expectations. My wife was thrilled. She not only thought the arrangement was superb, she even complemented the fragrance of the flowers that The Flower Company prepared. Delivery was made to the inn's desk, so we did not meet the delivery person, but the staff member who received the flowers was clearly impressed. I have only praise and gratitude for the Flower Company. If we come this way again, I will order flowers directly from them, even if it isn't my wife's birthday. read more

The Flower Company cannot be relied upon for a timely delivery. On 9/10/22 they were supposed to have delivered a $200+ white Sympathy Standing Spray given by my husband's siblings to the local church for the funeral. TFC delivered the flowers AFTER the funeral had begun (time captured by security camera), making it impossible to place the arrangement to be inside the sanctuary near the urn w/out disrupting the service. When owner was confronted w/this major error, she replied with "I'm sorry for your loss. Someone told him to just leave it in the foyer." Funeral arrangements should arrive at the church at LEAST 1/2 hr before it begins. No offer to refund the customer or apology. Not the 1st time we've dealt with this issue w/them it IS the last time we will ever use them. I certainly do not recommend them as they are unreliable for timely deliveries and defensive to legitimate complaints. Owner can't take any criticism at all and gets very defensive if someone says anything "bad" or something she's done wrong. read more

I have stopped by on several occasions to get fresh flowers from the farm here. The dahlias and zinnias are incredible and last for several days. Lori goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with what I get. You can tell she loves what she does. read more
