We cannot say enough good things about Robert and his team at Fencing America. It is everything…read moreyou'd want in a builder - honestly, craftsmanship, reasonable prices, great communication and quick turn around. They are just the best. They added a 6' fence to keep our chickens safe from predators, built two enclosures for our roosters, and turned an old green house into a large aviary. They've been so awesome we're looking for more projects for them to tackle. Hiring Robert and Fencing America is one of the best decisions we've made at the farm!

I hired Robert to build a fence and install gate openers. The fencing work itself was pretty good…read more I made the mistake of paying him for the labor(at his request because he needed it) before the job was done. He said he needed it and would be back in two days with someone to help him install the automatic gate openers. I have been chasing him ever since, for almost two months now to get the job done. He ignores calls and texts, when I finally got through by saying I would show up at his place of business which is also his house, he finally got back to me, but still has not installed my automatic gates so I can have others get in and out of my house. The gate materials were not the ones that I gave him the money for and were much cheaper. I have been trying to contact him just to get all the materials so I can have have someone else finish the job but so far have not been successful with that. I am just trying to have others avoid my mistake.

Theo is a great guy BUT he does NOT know what he is doing when putting in a grass that is 'high…read moremaintenance' like Zoysia. He convinced me that it was great and not difficult --- well being a scientist I did my research and found it needed to be dethatched every 6 weeks during growing season unless you mow with a grass pick up bag. He NEVER did that EVER and NEVER fertilized until I bought the huma-green food, which he did once. His guys mowed like kids zipping around as if they were riding go-carts. They weeded by using a weed-eater not removing or spraying the weeds from around trees and no 'weed and feed' fertilizer. I ask several times but no reply to do work. When I return to my brother's home the grass was so full of cut weeds not grass he blamed me. I will never forgive him for taking over $10k from my veteran brother for a lawn full of weeds. I don't suggest hiring him unless you like weeds or can be there every time they cut and you watch them every single minute while they are cutting or anything. They also say they will do other lawn maintenance in winter when cutting is only 2x per week for no extra cost. Well that did not happened at all and I was charged extra for all small things I ask them to do. One month he did not show up until I told him I'd like to see him and so he mowed the weeds the day before I was to show up, but I was already there and the boys came laughed never cut the back and just zipped around and ruined a couple spots in the lawn weeds. I recorded all of this. Just please BEWARE if you hire this company. If I could give them a (minus) -5 I would but you can't leave a review with minus reviews.

Please do not give yourself the trouble of hiring and paying for this company. Theo claims to…read moreprovide excellent lawn care service but in reality provides average lawn care. He needed a reminder to please edge the walkway from time to time despite significant overgrowth. During the winter months he started skipping coming twice a month thinking he could get away with charging me for two times when he only came once monthly. He got irritated when I asked for the dates he came so I could check the security cameras. This is dishonest. I always pay for the work done even if I'm not totally pleased, but this was a deal breaker for me. Don't believe anything he says because clearly honesty is not one of his qualities.
