I had a great experience at the fixery. I was quick to be taken care of despite the popularity of the day to get watches fixed. Excellent customer service and great prices. Will definitely be back and will recommend people here!

Stopped in to fix my Nixon and thought it was a mechanical problem$$ Turns out it was just a battery and he fixed it in 5 min for $15 !!! Definitely go here for watch repairs

I've been trying to get my watch for the last 3 weeks. No one answered the phone and I've been to the store. Could someone call me back?

I thought it closed a few months ago?

I went by there today (5/7/2024) and there's a salon in there. I also googled The Fixery and one of the hits noted it was closed. I called the # (651-690-5524) listed and it's disconnected.

Unsurprisingly, the ring was super tight and I could barely get it out of my finger. The business "President" asked me how much salt I had the day before and that "no one is the same size all days," which makes me think that her imagination is that people should only wear their wedding bands in winters or when they have cut salt from their diets.... I asked her is the fault was my finger's.... instead of taking responsibility for their mistake--I said from the start that the right would be tight--she replied by saying that there would be an extra charge to resize the ring. Given that they had already charged me $200, I figured I should pay and walk away. If the staff at Gloria's Jewelry do not know how to size a ring, they shouldn't be in business. At all. Don't give them your business, the potential for frustration is enormous.

I can not tell you how impressed I was by everyone that I had contact with at the shop from the moment I walked in. Both Brenda and Sauli were absolutely fabulous in helping me with designing my new ring! If you want someone who feels like a good friend that knows your style, helps guide you through the process, is honest, creative and no pressure sales. These are your people! I had a diamond from 30 years ago that had sentimental attachment to it, but was unsure if I could get a setting that would work with what I was now looking for. Sauli nailed it and gave me just what I wanted! I picked up my custom designed ring yesterday and cried happy tears. I felt as giddy as I did 30 years ago when my husband proposed with this diamond. I can't stop smiling! Thank you Buchosky Jewelers!

Review Title/Opening: Do NOT waste your money here if your jewelry has sentimental value!…read moreI try my absolute best to support and promote our local businesses, but this one does not deserve your money or your trust. I brought in a ring because I have spent years trying to solve the mystery of its maker's mark, probably over 100 hours. I asked the staff 4 or five separate times to please make sure the maker's mark was researched and identified, my understanding is this is what I was paying for and the assistant said "we will research it and it should be ready by Friday (dropped off 10am Tuesday) . I was quoted $300 for a standard turnaround, but because I didn't want to waste any more time, I paid a $400 rush fee to get answers by Friday. What did my $400 get me? Absolutely ZERO information. I am convinced the gemologist spent less than 10 minutes on my ring. Not only did they completely ignore my repeated requests to research the maker's mark, but they also failed to identify the most basic elements of the jewelry: * No metal identification (even though it has tested out as sterling silver twice before). * No stone carat size listed at all, measurement don't help me. It feels like because my ring didn't say "Tiffany" or "Cartier," this business decided it wasn't worthy of their time or professional effort. If it isn't an expensive luxury brand, they have ZERO respect for it. I am a "dog with a bone" when it comes to solving mysteries, and I will find the answers myself. But save yourself the headache, the time, and the $400. If your jewelry matters to you--whether it's Tiffany or from Avon--take it to an appraiser who actually cares about their customers and knows how to do their job. Avoid this place at all costs! PS after paying a few more bucks I actually got what I asked you for. Thanks for NOTHING! "Jenavi"

I first visited this store at the recommendation of a sales associate at JC Penny. I needed the battery of my watch replaced. A middle-aged lady told me a new battery would cost $24.99. I asked if she could give me a lower price, since I knew from past experience that replacing the battery for my watch should only cost $8-$15. She insisted that $25 was standard. I went with it, and came back 30 minutes later. She told me that my watch didn't need a new battery -- the movement needed to be fixed. She quoted me $75-$85. I said I'd think about it. Then I went back again today -- a month later. This time, an older man who was working on a piece of jewelry, stopped what he was doing, and asked what I needed help with when he saw me waiting. I asked if he could repair the movement. He opened up my watch, said that there was no battery in there, and suggested that my watch only needed a battery. And it worked! He charged me $15.99. He added that if there were any problems with the movement or battery, I could bring it back, and he would give me a 15% discount. I'm not sure what happened to the battery that was supposed to be in my watch, or why that lady insisted that the movement needed to be repaired, but I am SO GLAD that I waited. (Also, I saw a couple there who were repeat customers. The man was wearing a shiny new watch. Well, it looked new, but he had it polished here.) *** If you need some jewelry polished or repaired, please give this place a try BUT make sure you are speaking directly with the older man who works at this store.
