You must get your fish and chips here. I am salivating at the thought just writing about them.A chance remark by my neighbour put me on to this Fish and Chip shop.It isn't very local for us but it is well worth getting in the car for , even when it is pouring down. They don't let you order your fish until you reach the till which means you might have a few minutes to wait if you order haddock or plaice. We ordered haddock on our first visit and it was so delicious that we have never ordered anything else. Creatures of habit I admit but believe me it is GOOD!The portions are generous and always have enough chips in one portion for two of us and we always manage to save enough fish for our two cats who are very vocal when they smell it.I think the 'Hings' must be local celebrities because there are newspaper cuttings on the wall proclaiming the quality of their food . I assume that the lady and gentleman who are always working there together are My and Mrs Hing. Mr Hing doesn't speak to the customers but is busy frying.
Make a trip and see for yourself.Highly recommended. read more
