It has that old-school neighborhood barbershop feel that is hard to fake. The owner, Don, is very supportive of local high school sports, which is obvious from all the team pictures on the walls. The negative was a pretty brutal haircut. He left too much hair on the crown of my head and the back of my head was uneven in length. The sideburns weren't even either and he took a huge chunk out right above my ear. The other side was better but clearly this was an unbalanced fade. It took two weeks for my hair to grow back and somewhat fill in the chunk of hair he removed.

It is just him or his son in a small shop that has the feel of a classic barbershop from decades ago. That is what I wanted. Something that was pretty much like stepping back into the 1950s.
