We had a great time. Turner was a great host. We did the green mountain ghost room. It was very challenging. Very well done. Good quality experience. Ours was difficult but we all wanted to keep going past the 60 minutes. My 10 year old children loved it. Only issue was that there are 2 Escape Room 60's fairly close to each other. My husband and I were on vacation and realized that he had never done an escape room. So we looked up some places and came across Escape Room 60. You sign up and make your reservation online. He and I ended up getting a whole room to ourselves without having to buy it out which was awesome. You come in, sign a waiver, watch a cute rules video, then you're ready to go. You get blindfolded with an eyepatch that has the Escape Room 60 logo on it (which you get as a souvenir! I still use mine lol) and taken into the room. Quality of the props and materials was very good and very inventive clues and concepts. Our room was designed for 7 people and we ALMOST finished but ran out of clues and time. Though we were told we did really well for just two people! This place is loads of fun! read more

Totally awesome! We had so much fun! My sisters booked the 5 of us into the Pirate room. None of us had ever done an escape room activity before so we had no idea what to expect. They had a chest with a lock for our valuables while we were in the room, so my sister's left their purses. It'd be a very good idea to use the restroom beforehand. You watch a quick intro video with some instructions, like don't try to pull up the floor boards. Then you're blindfolded and led into the room. The action starts once you hear the announcement - pull off the blindfold & go! We were in the room with a group of 4 (9 of us total). Once the puzzles begin, everyone's social anxiety seemed to disappear. We escaped in 58 minutes, just short of failing. I guess the room has something like a 30% success rate, so we were proud. read more

Since they opened and we did Taken as our first escape room ever we have loved Escape Room 60! Every time they add a new room we go back and have such a great experience. The puzzles are challenging but intuitive, there's nothing frustrating and their clues are very helpful. The game masters are great, tonight we had Turner for Area 51- best game master ever!! Clearly loves the job, so personable, after successfully escaping we chatted about the puzzles and their Plattsburgh location's rooms. It's usually myself and one friend and we've done over 15 escape rooms so we are pretty experienced. We really appreciate that Escape Room 60 does not have a room minimum like Esc4pe downtown does, we had tried going there tonight and were turned away because despite having two totally empty rooms they don't allow only two people to play them it's minimum 4. So we took our $50 to Escape Room 60 and will be going to Plattsburgh later this week to try the Prison Break room! read more

It's great fun! We did the Alien - Area 51 room. Didn't solve it in time, but came close! We had a group of 5 that included 2 children that were 10 years old. The clues were varied enough, the room decor was perfect- added to the ambiance. We definitely would do it again! ! One of our party was mildly claustrophobic and found that she was busy enough that it didn't bother her at all. read more

For those of you who are unfamiliar with escape rooms, you and your party are "locked" into a room and given a set amount of time (usually an hour) to solve a series of puzzles to "escape" the room. Although smarts and puzzle solving skills are important, teamwork and communication is even more important to successfully escaping the room. My friends and I have tried both of the rooms currently available (Pirate Plunder and Taken) and they are comparable to other more well known/established rooms we have gone to in California as well as Boston. The game masters are helpful when you need them to be without providing too many hints and the rooms are challenging enough that you will be pressed for time to solve the rooms to get out. Overall a fantastic addition to Chittenden county. This would be fantastic for a group of friends or for team building groups! read more

This was such a fun time with family and friends. We did the Outbreak scenario and almost made it out alive...The staff was great and the place was clean, the scenario was fun and engaging.
