No matter what we do you WILL see a difference, even if they are all sanded and stained together. My thought was that if they were sanded and stained together they would look identical or at least similar. This was actually a much more difficult task than I anticipated. After speaking with Rob from PHS, he assured me that he would use a special kind of non penatrating stain that would do the trick and make them look almost identical. His confidence and knowledge was reassuring, especially after speaking with other "know it all" contractors. I received 6 estimates, ranging from 2300-6500 for roughly 700sq ft. Robs estimate was the 2nd or third cheapest option so needless to say they hit a home run with us!!
