It's a super gem of a store which offers a little of everything for everyone. It's a very elegant store which has hand painted furniture, baby clothes, jewelry, home decor, plus a lot more. For me it's a type of store where I just want to spend some time looking at everything. I really love finding things that I didn't know that I needed.

When we walked in the woman attending the store and I'm guessing her and her two friends started loudly and uncomfortably talking about how people walk in and "just act like it's bar" (we were the only other ones in there) and as we continued to walk around looking through the store we continued to be "silently" berated about how "when they put out free things, it can attract anyone to come in looking for free drinks and food and not buy anything." Mind you, we have bought something at all other 12 stores that we went in around town that also offered the same girls night out perks. Each of those stores welcomed us with so much enthusiasm and made us feel very comfortable. We knew that we would come back to those stores time and time again because of the hospitality alone. I will never go into Ambiance again. I felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable and I will never recommend this place to anyone that travels or frequents this area.

We were so glad we did as we had a blast trying on products and smelling the beautiful candles. The shop itself is just gorgeously decorated and is like stepping back in time into an apothecary: bottles, vintage wall art, and a green velour chair in the corner for the tired shopper. The proprietor of the shop, Leila Hazou, was so welcoming and when I couldn't find an "Athena" rollerball, she offered to make one for me!! I also ended up purchasing the migraine rollerball that will offer natural relief for those days wrecked by my headaches. My friend couldn't leave the store without purchasing one of Leila's candles. The store hours are Thursdays through Mondays, 11am- 5pm. Leila also has an online store and occasionally offers an in person candle making class, which I look forward to taking in the future.

When I walked in it seemed like they were not completely setup because they were still opening boxes and hanging things up. There was merchandise still in boxes not on the shelves yet. Everything was sort of everywhere. This store had very random merchandise. They had some clothes, bags, appliances, exercise equipment, water bottles plus other items. I really just looked around very quickly and did not find anything that I did not know that I needed this time.
