In all of…read moremy years of buying homes, Melissa is the only person who provided focused, caring, and consistent Customer Service! I have taught customer service and team building at university and can honestly say the type of service Melissa provided is above and beyond the norm. She is the recipient of our Extraordinary Customer Service Award for 2016!!! Through a very long and trying process, with difficult seller, leaky basement, and death of an inspector, Melissa was always one step ahead of things! She even crawled through under a deck in a torrential rain to help stop the leak to the basement. That's what I call dedication! If everyone at the Silverdale Way office provides the same amazing service as Melissa, I highly recommend them! If you use this location of John L. Scott you will not be disappointed!!!! If you are blessed to have Melissa, you will quickly see what a treasure she is!!!!

I was selling my home in Seattle while living out of state and I am not exaggerating when I say…read morethat it would have been impossible without Mia and her assistant Kristin. There were many unexpected difficulties in the process of getting my home ready to list, including but not limited to a burst pipe from a cold snap and a couple of complicated issues that popped up with the city. Mia tackled any problem head on and essentially became a project manager, hiring painters, replacing carpet, hiring contractors to fix some of the mess left by insurance workers, as well as resolve the previous issues the house had. To top it all off, she staged the house wonderfully and we had a great looking listing, it almost felt like a whole new house. She truly went above and beyond the normal scope of an agent, and the only feelings I have after the close of the sale are feelings of gratefulness that I was able to find such an amazing agent, and also a bit of sadness knowing that moving out of state meant that I would have to find a new agent and it is often a very hit and miss industry. If you are reading this looking for an agent in the Seattle area, you will not go wrong in choosing Mia. She is punctual and puts in the time and effort necessary to ensure that you will not feel like you are just another client waiting for your turn in line to get a response, and you will not feel like your opinions, preferences, or worries are unheard. She understands the market well and will fight for you to get the best price you can. She truly went above and beyond for me and I have no doubts that she will do the same for any and all of her clients.

When our dream house in the perfect location finally came along, Mia knew exactly how to advise us to beat 10 other competitive offers to win it! And when it was time to sell our sweet starter home, Mia and Kristin recommended and managed a thoughtful set of updates to really make it shine. We ended up with multiple offers within days of listing, and accepted one that was much higher than we had hoped for! Overall we are truly in disbelief at the outcome. We owe it to Mia for really listening to understand what we wanted and providing spot-on advice to help us navigate a competitive and changing market. Because I'm a complete novice at this, I needed an experienced guide, as well as someone to encourage me to get things done when they needed to be done. Margo and her team were exactly what I needed. Margo's team arranged for the house to be beautifully staged, and another team came in and produced a beautiful photo portfolio to help potential buyers get a feel for the place. If your house has some "fixit" issues, Margo's team knows good workers --- I should have listened to her more closely.
