If there was a 0 star rating this place would be more than deserving of that. I've never personally…read morehad a dog come into the salon but I know people who work there. Not only are the wait times absolutely ridiculous it's because your dogs sit in a cage for hours on end before they get touched. The safety conditions for your pets should be your number 1 concern for the reason that in this specific location the building is FULL of BLACK MOLD that the owners know about but continue to cover up because it saves them money. The employees have been seen screaming tugging and sometimes hitting your pets because they are not "cooperating" to there standards These people will make promises to you that they cannot keep and turn it around on you to make it seem like youre the problem. When you leave or even pull into the lot they talk about you mock you make fun of your body type and say all types of mean nasty things about the people who come in there and pay for a service just for it to 9/10 be wrong or just not what you wanted at all. I pray for those of you who never see this review but all I can say is the employees and bosses are absolutely disgusting people who only care about your money NOT your dogs.

In fact, last summer I unfortunately broke my foot. Dan even walked out to my car to help take Hugo inside, as I was in a boot and using crutches. Dan also takes great pride in keeping the Golden Bone meticulously clean and tidy. He is a very kind and personable young man. He provides exceptional customer service! Hugo is always wagging his tail as we pull into the Golden Bone's parking lot. I know Dan will be the first person we see when we walk in, and I do not doubt that Hugo will receive extra special care!! Lisa V.

We just picked up our two dogs after a 3 night stay at Parkway Pet Lodge. My husband said as he was…read morewalking out of the facility, the man behind the counter said, "Sorry about all the mud!" Thinking that was all, my husband didn't think twice. However, upon arriving home, he asked me to wipe their feet before they came in. Both dogs had mud and feces CAKED all over their paws, and my basset hound (who is obviously lower to the ground) had mud and feces all over her chest and belly, too. We've boarded them at other facilities before and this has NEVER been an issue! I could understand not taking the time to fully bathe her, but the LEAST they could have done was toweled her underside off. Furthermore, when we called to book, I was surprised to be told that the dogs do not go out to play with other dogs at the facility. I can see how this could be their way of limiting liability, but again, this was never the case at the other places we've left them. So the dogs go out to void/poop and play for a bit before being stuck back in the kennel for most of the stay. If you want them to really get any attention, you have to pay for cuddle and/or play sessions, which I did because I wasn't just going to leave them alone! We only booked here because our preferred kennel was closed and my mother in law was leaving her dog here as well. Never again! I will drive back towards town before I leave my fur babies to be ignored and mistreated again!

My dog had never been with cats and the cats were terrified of the dog. Dan cat tested our dog at the facility then came to our house to work with us. Only needed one session. The issue is with ownership & poor handling. I brought my dog in for the mid tier package which…read moreincludes a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, and general grooming. I waited 4+ hours for my dog to be finished so I can pick her up, and when I got her, her nails were ragged and hardly cut at all. She has clear nails & the untrained eye could visibly see there was more nail that needed trimmed. The staff at the store was friendly. However my issue arose when I emailed the owner and asked if I could bring my dog back for the nails to be corrected for free because they were too poorly done to ignore. The owner sent a very aggressive email back, saying that I should go elsewhere & that his business would never make a mistake, and it's my misunderstanding. I later saw him do the same thing to someone in the comment section of my local Facebook page. Absolutely embarrassing & disgusting behavior for an old man. Unbelievably poor behavior as a business owner. I've given this place multiple chances between grooming and boarding and every time has been subpar. I have never complained until this time, because I was hoping they could redeem themselves somehow. The staff who is there is nothing but nice people, but the owner is nasty & should not be given the platform and ability to serve the public that he has. I can't recommend avoiding this place enough. The owner was so worried about being mean that he never bothered to do any "quality control" on the services being performed. Mediocre services, friendly staff, but disgusting ownership. Pathetic.
