I could even walk to his office (which, by the way, has moved since this listing). Warning bells should have gone off when I noticed how full his waiting room was. Every time I ever went there, I had to wait at least 45 minutes and rarely did I ever get more than 5 minutes with him. He was my family Dr. for my first pregnancy, and he told me women who had homebirths were crazy and of course I would want an epidural because I am an anxious person (I don't know what made him think that as I have never been clinically diagnosed with anxiety issues). I went on to have a home birth (which I never told him about, since he was very anti-home birth and anti-midwife). The last straw for me was when I booked a physical with him, but was really sick. I showed up in the hopes he could treat me instead of doing the physical. He said, "Oh, I guess you're too sick for the physical," and sent me home (after asking if I could get home on my own). I had to go to a walk-in clinic later on, where they diagnosed me with bronchitis and asthma (which I have had on and off since childhood). They were totally shocked this Dr. didn't check me out or prescribe medication for me when I was so sick.

Dr Pinto is a horrible and negligent doctor. His staff is rude and unprofessional. This doctor…read moredoesnt think it necessary to wear gloves while drawing blood from patients. He drew blood with his bare hands. His staff of receptionists would probably not get a job anywhere else and this doctor is actually complicit with them in harassing patients. Why is this guy still allowed to practice is a mystery

I AM PREGNANT AND THIS CLINIC REFUSED ME ATTENTION…read more My husband and I went in after seeing they were ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. I wanted to change my family doctor because my current one is too far and inconvenient. Everything seemed fine--until ANOTHER DOCTOR ABRUPTLY WALKED INTO MY CONSULTATION and said she "RECOMMENDED" not switching doctors during pregnancy. But it wasn't a recommendation--it was a CLEAR REFUSAL. She DISMISSED MY REASONS and even claimed my current clinic was "only 20 minutes away," ignoring the fact that I DON'T DRIVE and SHE DOESN'T KNOW MY REALITY. Just because a street has "airport" in the name doesn't mean it's near the airport. The tension became overwhelming for me. I started feeling UNWELL--LIGHTHEADED, FAINTISH, and HYPERVENTILATING. I SAID I DID NOT FEEL WELL, and instead of helping or checking on me, THEY JUST LET ME WALK OUT. I LEFT TO FIND SAFETY WITH MY HUSBAND because I felt extremely overwhelmed and not SUPPORTED THERE. What kind of medical professionals SEE A PREGNANT WOMAN IN DISTRESS and DO NOTHING? THIS PLACE MAY BE ACCEPTING PATIENTS, BUT THEY ARE NOT PREPARED TO CARE. Dear Doctor, Just because you might have a car and everything feels '20 minutes away' to you, doesn't mean that's the reality for everyone. That is not a valid reason to DENY someone attention. My husband went to the clinic beforehand and clearly mentioned our intention to transfer care. They told him that they did not recommend him but that they were open to receiving me. So please don't speak about 'recommendations' when in reality, you were clearly refusing a consultation and dismissing my needs as a pregnant woman.
