The office is modern and clean, the admin staff are lovely and professional, they are always on-time (sometimes even early!), and Dr. Yap is the kind of family doctor I've always wanted but never had. Dr. Yap is thorough, taking a complete health history of her new patients and always updates your health information during yearly physicals. Since becoming her patient I have had two babies and she is wonderful with them. Their vaccinations/injections are always done quickly and with no complications, and my 3 year-old enjoys going to see her whenever we have appointments. I definitely recommend Dr. Yap and Yorktown Family Medicine, especially if you want a younger doctor with whom you and your family can grow.

Overall a very good clinic…read more I have seen most of the doctors there as it is my go to Clinic including Dr. Goldstein which he is very good and professional. I went to go see Dr. Fouda one time and asked if she can help me with two minor things which she unfortunately, refused and was only able to assist me with one thing and that policy is I can only ask one thing per appointment and that I must re-book an apointment with her to do so. I'm assuming so that she can charge OHIP more money. Anyways, i went to go see another doctor for two of the same things and he said it was perfectly fine. Also, everytime I was sent to go see her she always makes me feel stupid for any issues I come forward with her. (forgive me if I spell the names wrong.) I suggest seeing the guy Physicians/ Doctors instead and the receptionists are usually very helpful.

Everyone is an absolute pleasure to deal with...from the receptionists who greet you upon your arrival, to the individual recently hired to administer shots (hysterically funny although she's obviously a sociopath who likes to cause pain to people), to the friendly and thorough doctors, this place is tops. One of the advantages of having a physician in this clinic is that should my doctor be away, another physician can step in and see me in a pinch. What can I say about my doctor??? I've been a patient of his for over 15 years and have found him to be approachable, thorough, concerned and the kind of guy you want to have a tequila with. Although professional, he ensures that you feel valued and takes time to discuss things with you....I can't imagine having another doctor. I ended up going to the Eglinton location for follow-ups a few times and was also sent for blood work and ultrasound. Staff at both walk-ins were caring, punctual and professional. The Doctor was very thorough and left no stone unturned to make sure what could have been a serious problem, wasn't. Very importantly, what would have taken weeks at my family doctor or another walk-in I used to go to, was resolved in a matter of days. I highly recommend this and the Davisville Watson walk-ins.

This whole experience with this clinic has been weird from day one. Having said that: the…read moreChiropodist (Ms. Youn) is professional, and capable - she did a fantastic job on my orthotics. My first visit comprised of the following: TV blaring (very loudly/hyper program on), not conducive to a wellness environment, and ice on the ramp - not salted - HUH? Really 'great' for people with muscular-skeletal issues. Second time I went back (to pick up my orthotics), they turned off the TV and salted the ramp (snowy day) - not asking too much. Figured it was over, done. Got my orthotics, bye bye. Today I received an unsolicited e-mail from them (mass-mailing, obviously) which had the word (in caps) "IMPORTANT announcement" (on the subject line), and several "urgent" (in bold) throughout the e-mail. INAPPROPRIATE!!!!!!!!! When one receives an e-mail from a medical clinic and the words "important"/"urgent" are on there, this is not calming ... or relaxing ... or "well-making". Someone obviously had a lot of time on their hands to create this somewhat in your face, super-duper "important" e-mail. I could not even unsubscribe from this nuisance. I left them a voicemail message telling them to take me off - never want to hear from you again! There are interactions and experiences in life which simply do not leave one with a positive impression and this was one example. My opinion!
