Quite a small disney store compared to most but still stocks the more popular items. It's a shame that they do not offer click and collect, so you can order online and pick up instore, as this would make up for the lack of stock compared to the more bigger stores. Disney is always great for finding kids birthday/christmas presents, so even though they lack the ranges, I'm sure most people will find something to buy in here. The store can get a bit cramped at busy times but during the week it tends to be much quieter. There are always staff available to answer your question, should you have any, and they are very polite. I do love the Disney Store and just can't resist going in. This is a pretty good branch, but is actually quite a small store and doesn't carry that big a stock range. Nevertheless, it's still one of my absolute favourite shops in York! They do carry a reasonable range of Disney toys, along with some clothing and accessories like bags and umbrellas. It's definitely worth a look, but it's disappointing that it isn't bigger. read more

This store is a bit small and never seems to have the sales that can be found in the rest of the chain. It also doesn't not come with any decent limited edition plushies (such as the loch ness eeyore in the Edinburgh store) The layout is also not the best and the corners can get bottlenecked. read more

young or old, you just can't help but to go in and have a look and a aww moment at the stuff on sale in this shop. like all the other disney chains, staff are friendly, and sometimes in a rather scary manner! though i find the uniforms they have to wear, entitles the staff to a pay rise! great for taking the kids and letting them have a little oh this is what i want for xmas, birthday or NOW! whinge! but its always good for presents for children, friends and yourself! read more

I felt like an inevitable four year old bouncing around the store, wanting to buy anything. My childlike demeanor around the store was shared by many others. The displays they have arranged in store are wonderful, and the items are reasonably priced. The Disney Princess unit is absolutely brilliant, as when I visited the branch, it contained a pink castle unit and a huge mirror with a Disney princess video message displayed within. I felt like a toddler, so excited running through the aisles as I'd been searching and searching and had finally come across the store. Outstanding decor and products. read more
