You can get some really great brand toys at a good price but most of the time the kind of toys you find in there are not the latest thing and vary in quality. The shop itself is a decent size but it always feel really overcrowded, like they're trying to cram as many toys as possible in there and aren't taking into account how difficult mothers with prams or wheelchair users may find getting round the shop.

They do not sell cheap plastic things that will fall apart once they have been played with a few times. Inside the store, there are toys laid out that the children can play with, such as a wooden Brio type train set. The only problem with this is that the children don't want to leave. Very good for underwear - look out for all the top names Babywear excellent and some unusual clothing. Also sell toys, bedding and homeware. Huge car park. Small cafe inside. Best to allow plenty of time to search through all the racks - can't be done in a hurry. I find the best time to go on a Saturday is just as the store is opening at 9.;00 - otherwise daytime in the week.

There is also lots of free car parking. They have racks and racks of clothes and shoes etc. Sometimes, there is so much to look through on the rails that it can be off-putting. The stuff is not laid out well to enable you to browse easily. In the Swindon store, there is a small cafe where you can grab a cake and a cup of coffee when you have shopped to drop! There are not many other places nearby, it is a bit out on a limb.

The selection of toys isn't huge when you compare it to the big hamley's store but it is an outlet shop so you expect that. One of the only drawbacks is that some of the toys are really high up on shelves so it's difficult for children to actually see them. But their displays are done very well and it's a nice shop to go in with children.
