We are so impressed with the quality of the work that we are telling all of our friends about it and I have a stack of his cards to share with my clients. We will absolutely be contacting him again- not only is he capable of doing the big jobs but he made time to fix my flimsy fence post before he left that I had mentioned in passing! Thank you so much Ian , can't work to work with you again!

We are extremely disappointed and exhausted after dealing with this company…read more We hired Caledonian Homes, working with Amanda Froehlich Chow, to build a fireplace and four shelves. The project was supposed to start on December 4th, and as of January 9th, 35 days later, the work is still not completed. Throughout this entire period, we have had to constantly follow up just to find out if and when someone would show up. And every single time they came, what was supposed to be done was not completed. Worse than that, each visit resulted in new damage to our home. Service times have been extremely inconvenient and unprofessional - including weekends with no prior notice and even late at night (1 AM!!). They do not prepare or protect the work area at all: no floor protection, no furniture covering, and they even walked into our home wearing snowy, muddy boots with rocks, all over our brand-new floors. Lovely. You hire what you believe is a serious and responsible company to build a fireplace, and instead you end up with a dirty house, potential floor damage, multiple issues to fix - and possibly needing a prescription for anti-anxiety medication. At some point, I may go into detail about what these 35 days of frustration and stress have really been like. I resisted writing this review for a long time, but not doing so would be a disservice to Saskatoon and surrounding areas . I don't know how many people will read this, but if even one reasonable person reads it and decides to choose another company, that will already be enough. Do not hire this company under any circumstances.

Dale and his team have great attention to detail, high standards, excellent work ethic, and patience for dealing with picky home owners! In addition, they are nice people to have in your home-pleasant, respectful, and they always clean up after the work. Last but not least, the entire job was finished just two weeks over the projected deadline-which is amazing when you are dealing with renovation projects. We highly recommend Caledonian Homes!

More than that, they don't normally install decks that aren't attached to homes in older established neighbourhoods (I don't think) and the design, lay-out etc blended beautifully. We absolutely appreciated the quality of work and professionalism from David and Lucien. Thanks very much Saskatoon Deck Shop!

Mike and the guys removed the old flooring that had 2 layers of old subfloor and 3 layers of flooring. They put down a new subfloor and (LVP) Luxury vinyl plank flooring all in the 5 days time frame. I can't say enough about these guys. They powered through everything and got the job done one time with great quality work. As a landlord this is super import to get the units back on the market fast with quality work and at a reasonable price. Thanks Mike!
