Their specialty is Barre, yet I've attended many specialty classes such as Tap N Power and Barre Boot Camp. However, Yoga Flow is my definite favorite by far. Calli's classes are challenging, yet comforting, and she always pushes us to try just a bit more and strive for constant improvement. You'll love her spirit and care for her classmates, which is why I keep coming back. Tip: they usually run summer month long specials for educators and flexible class packages for everyone.

They charged me for a 4th month without my consent. When I contacted them for a refund (via phone, email, and social media) they waited TEN days to respond and then didn't honor my request for a refund. They claimed they sent me an email in May saying that my membership would automatically renew unless I contacted them and requested otherwise. I had zero email communication from their studio stating this bizarre policy. Also, what is the point of selecting a 3 month membership if it will continue auto renewing forever? I had to contact my credit card company and they've filed a claim against them. Although I enjoyed the workouts, I can't recommend a fitness center with unethical business practices.

I personally texted Tomm, the manager, asking if the gym was open and his response was "Have you seen the news?" implying, No. then after getting charged for two months of not using the facility I texted again asking if there was a plan for roping and if we were going to be refunded for the two months and he responded saying that they stayed open and there was no way to tell even member. now that I have moved out of town I am trying to cancel my membership and there is no phone number to call listed anywhere other than Tomm's and he has said that he can't end it I have to call "them"... whoever "they" are.... Then on 10 August, after I finished my workout and my buddy had 2 sets left to finish his, the main manager asked me to approach and asked me not to train him. I told him I wasn't, I was simply waiting in him up finish his workout. Main Management reiterated I can't train my buddy, but that we could workout together. I explained I wasn't training him I was with him (he was my ride) and I was simply waiting on him to finish. After I spoke with that manager, and we smiled and laughed a bit parted from him and I continued to wait on my buddy to finish his workout. I stood by my buddy, made sure not to talk to him about any gym stuff in case any of the other guys that work there might be listening. Another of the gym owners approached and asked if I was training my buddy. I said no, that I was watching soccer on the TV and waiting on him to finish his workout so we could go. This guy seemed nicer and was more than likely taking orders from the main owner. After we told this nicer owner what the situation was, he seemed to be ok with it as he said nothing more, but here came the main owner telling me I had to leave, that no one can be in the gym for 'free'. I told him that I'm not training my buddy, I told him I can't go anywhere since my buddy is my ride and that there's nothing free about this since we both pay for our membership. That's when he told me to leave and things got heated. My buddy tried to calm things down and explain we're together, that I'm not a certified trainer, that I'm not receiving payment from him because I'm not training him. He also added that when the gym opened its doors for the first time, we're one of the founding members. The main manager said he couldn't care less because none of that matters. In front of the entire gym, this main manager man accused, without a single shred of evidence, that I was doing something I clearly wasn't. I told him this was unacceptable and we were going to cancel our membership because it was extremely unprofessional and uncalled for to be accused of things. I understand where the manager is coming from. Before him, people who didn't pay a membership would come in all the time. This includes personal trainers the members would bring in with them to have these trainers train them. I get it, no one wants their business to suffer due to unchecked people coming in and out. And that's where this new main manager ignored everything we said when we explained that: 1) I finished my workout early 2). We're here together as friends and he's my ride 3). The only 'waiting' area that used to exist they got rid of it As we left, we traded insults and the main manager followed us out and threatened us with physical violence. Seriously? This is the kind of treatment ownership of an establishment of any kind, treats long lasting members? When Jesse owned the gym, it was good, but not perfect. When Tom became the managing partner with Jesse, it was better but not perfect. With this new manager, the place has become unprofessional and hostile. I could see his veins in his head and neck and he got angry so quickly, he must still have steroids going through his system. If you're looking for a gym, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. Because if you're working out with someone and you finish your own routine, they will ask you to step out of the gym because if you're not lifting you're using their gym for 'free". Honestly if the membership were free under this new manager, it's overpriced.

I was pleasantly surprised by Unity as their sessions not only provide an excellent practice, but a lesson that you can take with you. I feel this studio offers more than just a show up and practice yoga experience and I look forward to the next class. I've taken the gentle yoga and the hatha mixed level class, the gentle yoga was more slow moving and the mixed level was a great class where you could challenge yourself. Each class consisted of a small group in which Joy, the owner, had a relationship with each person and knows their journey within yoga. It felt like I was joining a community, not just a yoga studio.

However the services are somewhat overpriced but generally good quality. After a few years we turned to another source for our yoga. They offer Hatha, Relaxation and other varieties of yoga practice. Our automatic payment permission was revoked multiple times, with emails that went unanswered by the owner and then after we revoked the credit card authorization they continued to charge us $80 per month...for 3 more months. And for that I have NO regrets. As a California native, I did my research before selecting the best location for me to cross this off my bucket list with my girls and I am glad this was it. They were so accommodating to our schedule and even added an additional class for us (which booked up full with other groups as well). Whether you are into yoga or just love goats, there's no way you won't have a great time here. They have so many goats (all so adorable) running around that everyone gets as much time with them as you'd like. The instructors do a great job accounting for everyone's skill level and they don't get frustrated when an attendee only wants to play with the goats (guilty as charged). All you need to do is show up. They provide the clean mats and all of the necessary instructions to have a good time. Bring your cameras and be alert to avoid goat pee and poop that isn't too messy or smelly (and their crew does an incredible job cleaning up on the fly). I highly recommend this studio and will definitely be back again when I'm back in Nashville. Thank you for being such an incredible memory from my Bachelorette weekend!

Great Facility -- Terrible, Vindictive Ownership…read more The Goodlettsville HOTWORX studio itself is clean, well-maintained, and the saunas are always in great working order. Unfortunately, the ownership and management are the complete opposite of what this brand stands for -- overly sensitive, vindictive, and unprofessional. After I asked a few questions about my cancellation date and billing, they revoked my access immediately, despite my final payment covering the entire month of December. For full transparency, and since Candace will most certainly respond, and I won't have the ability to follow up, here is exactly what I wrote throughout the exchange. I'll let you decide if it was worthy of revoking my access to the studio. And for the record, I've tried to call the facility and her cell phone, but she won't take my calls, and she has not responded to a single email since she revoked my access... Nov 1, 11:44 AM: "Hi, Candace. I need to cancel my Hotworx membership. Do I just need to send you this email to make it official?" Candace replied with the standard 30-day policy and said I'd be billed through December. Nov 1, 12:15 PM: "If I'm canceling today, why would my 30-day notice include the entire month of December?" She explained that November only had 30 days in it. Nov 1, 12:50 PM: "So, you're charging me a whole extra month over one day? That seems a bit ridiculous that you can't look past a one-day difference." Nov 1, 12:52 PM: "If you count today as one of the 30 days, then it would end on Nov 30." She said she understood where I was coming from, but needed to be fair to all members and offered to downgrade me to Sweat Basic. She didn't answer why Nov 1 didn't count toward the 30 days. Nov 1, 12:59 PM: "Please downgrade me then. Why doesn't Nov 1 count toward the 30 days?" She then let me know that Nov 1 would have been included in the 30 days if the request had been processed before midnight on Oct 31. Nov 1, 12:51 PM: I then sent the cancellation statement to her. She responded that the correct amount in the statement was $59, so I sent the corrected version (I had a typo in the first one). Then I received confirmation that my cancellation was processed, but they were also revoking my access immediately, accusing me of "negative or disruptive behavior" without ever specifying what that meant. I have been nothing but respectful to Candace, her husband and the members. I have even had conversations about franchising opportunities and they seemed like good people. Little did I know the pettiness lying underneath that facade. Before this experience, I was referring Hotworx to all my friends, but not anymore, thanks to Candace. I hope weaponizing your membership agreement was worth this bad review. UPDATE: As mentioned earlier in my review, I sent two emails and called twice only because I never got a reply. When I called the studio line, the voicemail provided a cell phone number, so I called that immediately after. They didn't answer, and I didn't even leave a message--yet the owners contacted the police, asking that I not reach out again. In my experience, the owners reacted very strongly to my attempts to get clarification about my membership, including involving the police instead of responding directly. It felt like a drastic reaction, so I'd advise other members to be aware of that possibility before signing up.
