I've always loved to watch couples dance in harmony and rhythm on the dance floor. I really never thought I could dance myself but I wanted to. Then I took one class and one private lesson and I was hooked. Dancing is all I want to do now. It makes me happy, and I can actually dance!!! Live2Dance can teach you how to dance in a very short time. It is so much fun, I haven't laughed and enjoyed something so much in a long time. The team/staff make it exciting and are very patient and welcoming. They will make you feel comfortable, and they are very encouraging. A great time is to be had. If you want to learn how to dance, have fun, get your exercise, meet new and fun people, be challenged and happy at the same time------this is the place----Live2Dance read more

The instructors are so engaging and friendly. They soon began to feel like old friends! My husband and I had a series of private classes with Chelsea and she was professional and supportive. We learned quickly under her clear guidance and she always kept us laughing! She also worked with us to make a schedule that worked on our end, as we were traveling an hour for our lessons. Group classes with TK were also a treat. Learned so much and always had a blast. Guys - if you need a WOW date idea, take your girl here and be willing to put in the work to learn how to lead her! read more

Did you ever wish you could be like the celebrities on dancing with the stars? This studio will make you feel like one, but without the stress or drama. You could start taking lessons knowing nothing and in a relatively short period participate in live performances or local dance competitions! Or if you just want to learn a dance for your wedding or have fun trying a new hobby you can do that too. They have guest nights and Friday night dance parties and a host of other activities to meet other people learning dance as well of all ages. I have always wanted to dance! Live2Dance took my 'too left feet' and taught me dance moves I never thought I could accomplish. The group lessons and private lessons are so fun...and you really learn to dance vs just memorize choreography. Doing this for myself has boosted my confidence and such a great way to exercise. If you have ever wanted to dance...call Live2Dance. They are incredible! read more

We signed up for the intro package to learn a dance for our wedding. After 6 classes we still hadn't learned anything past 4 basic box steps. The instructor and staff were all very pleasant, it just seemed they were more interested in selling you than actually teaching you. They gave us a quote for more classes for $2k!!! Wouldn't budge on the price or package and tried to sell us really hard. Needless to say it didn't work. If your goal is to become a ballroom dancer and you have the money to do it, this is your place. If you're just a regular couple wanting to learn a dance for your wedding, this isn't it. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Absolutely horrendous place. Paid $35 for a private1 hour introductory dance class with my fiancée. Ended up spending 30 minutes learning how to walk together with the rest of the time spent trying to sell us on a dance package. There was a kid playing on his ipad with the volume turned all the way up on the dance floor along with other dance instructors on the floor teaching. Not a private dance lesson at all and would not recommend any of their services. read more

I had such a great time there the other night. The staff and clients were welcoming, fun and inclusive. I give Stephen two thumbs up. And I am so glad I had one dance with owner Brian. I am a fan even if I never return. They were also not too over the top with the sales pitches, but I will say even that element was well choreographed. Warning: They did worry the stuffing out of me with calls and postcards to make sure I would show up. read more

Great place. Friendly staff who know how to teach ballroom dancing. Love the Friday night live parties. Great bands and just have a lot of fun. read more

I've never been a good dancer, but a friend and I went for a couple of swing dancing lessons here a couple of years ago and by the end of the second lesson, I could swing dance. I can twist and be dipped and do all kinds of fancy moves. I was amazed, and I am even more amazed that I can still remember how to do it. It's been my wedding dancing savior quite a few times; this skill has rescued me from awkward dancefloor gyrating. Recently I went back the National Dance club for an open house with a few friends, at which we learned how to rumba, to waltz and to swing. i would love to go back for some more private lessons. I believe they can even teach those with two left feet to dance at least passably. read more

I have to write twice now. I found that NDC offers a little bit more than just dancing... For anyone looking to boost their confidence and sociability, i found that this is the best place to do it. I went from just trying something new to signing up for their social ease program and, possibly this week, for bronze level. So what's social ease all about anyway? What kind of motive could anyone have for looking into the program? As it turns out, social ease is not only about helping you not suck on the dance floor, but it also helps you grow a backbone for taking others to dance and to visit venues that NDC will rent out for a night of dancing. This is done with the following: private lessons with one of the instructors you get matched up with, group lessons with any of them, practice parties at the studio, and my favorite part, 'destination unknown', which involves the class meeting up at a venue reserved by NDC. The instructors are a lot like some others i have met at yoga and karate alike. They are some of the most vibrant, energetic, and happy individuals I have ever met. If ever you are like me and lead a rather mediocre social life or your routine is a tad repetitive, try out this place. read more

For my birthday, I requested couples dance lessons. I had been talking about learning how to dance as a couple since Christmas...dropping hints nearly three months. Well...my husband is a genius! He bought me those dance lessons! I could just swoon over that man. As an introductory package, for $35 you can get a private dance lesson, group lesson and practice party on a Friday night. Unless you know someone...wink wink! Our instructor Leah welcomed up with open arms and encouraged us every step of the way, literally. The entire staff is enthusiastic. Studio is open and clean. Parties are fun and a great way to practice! Parking is ample! We've been back about 5 more times for lessons! Highly recommend it!! read more

I made the mistake of giving these people my phone number and they have been calling me non stop since November! I haven't picked up once. You'd think they'd get the hint. NOPE. They even went as far as to call me from a private number. These people are nuts. Don't waste your time with them. read more

I've been taking lessons and enjoying the open dance nights at NDC Belle Meade for almost two years now. The instructors are fantastic and the curriculum can be molded to the newest of dancers AND those that have some background. Dancing makes me feel alive and any bad day I'm having is made better once I step out of the dance floor. My instructors, Kayla and DeShawn, have worked closely with me on pulling me out of my 'shell'. I can't thank them enough for making me feel like a pretty princess during the Waltz or a vixen during the Rumba. If you can walk forward, backward and side to side, you can learn to dance too! Thanks NDC for countless evenings of fun, excitement and relaxation!! read more

I've been taking lessons here for about 6 months now and I can't imagine a better place to learn and practice ballroom dance. The instructors are wonderful, the classes are extremely helpful, the mood is relaxed, and they have weekly and semi-weekly parties to practice at with an open bar. read more

Whatever you do - DO NOT give these people your phone number. I have gotten a phone call from them EVERY SINGLE DAY for the past year. They even call from different numbers. I have asked not to call, I have blocked them, they will not leave me alone!!! Please spare yourself and DO NOT go here!!! read more

I have a back round in jazz, hiphop and a bit of everything on my belt. I walked in to ask questions about what they have to offer and just general information. The woman at the front desk introduce me to a Donna which apparently is in charge of something that she did not specify. She told me in order to take a class that I would have to buy a package. When I asked her what type of dance they teach she wasn't able to necessarily be specific. The only thing she really explained it was that it was couples only. She was rude, clearly had no interest in showing me what the company has to offer. I don't recommend this place to anybody. read more

This company is a scam that preys on old lonely women and takes them for everything they have. They've charged my grandmother outrageous amounts 10-20 thousand for a weeklong dance trip. Stay away. Stay far away. read more

STAY AWAY! The fees are outrageous, the sales tactics are horrible, and they charge you for EVERYTHING. Want to be in a showcase (think recital)? Thousands of dollars. Want to go on a ballroom dance cruise? Not only are your charges for the cruise ridiculously high compared to purchasing the same cruise on your own, but be prepared to pay for the instructor's cruise, which is required. The lessons are way overpriced (over twice as much as other facilities in the area), and over half of the lesson time is spent dancing with others to "warm up", making announcements, talking to and/or being introduced to other clients, and talking about what's going to happen when you move up to the next level. Don't worry, as long as you can pay for the next level, you'll be progressing as fast as you can swipe your credit card. Save your money and go somewhere else. They all teach the same thing. read more

Do not give these people your number. I have blocked their number multiple times and still receive multiple calls a week at all hours of the day. I was finally able to answer and spoke with Patrick. He was rude and seemed to laugh when I told him we were receiving multiple calls and voicemails and we would not be attending a dance class. read more

I made the mistake of giving these people my number. I received multiple calls and voicemails weekly, at all hours of the night. I blocked them but they continue to call from multiple numbers and leave voicemails. I finally was able to talk to someone named Patrick and he seemed to not care much about me receiving multiple phone calls and proceeded to laugh a bit once I said I didn't want any more calls. This is not a good way to get people to come to your business. I will not be going here read more

A friend told me 80-yr-old legs weren't meant for dancing! I said, "Watch me!" I've always loved to dance - mediocre - but a bad knee stood in my way. Now I've had a complete knee replacement and discovered National Dance Clubs. It is the ultimate form of exercise and I'm thrilled to be dancing again after so many, many years. The teachers are the best! Johnny has worked with me now for a couple of months and am amazed at his attention to form and detail, building on every step. He will see to it that you look good on the dance floor. Everyone is friendly, like one big happy family. I also love dressing up and actually having some place to go. Where else but the weekly Friday night live dances! Do join us! read more

I had a very, very hard time deciding how to rate our experience at NDC. We had 5 private lessons and one group lesson. We had originally purchased a groupon for 2 private lessons in anticipation of our wedding. After the first lesson we were given a sales pitch to purchase a package. We decided the additional three lessons would be worth it and agreed for an additional nearly $300. At the end of our 5th class, we were AGAIN given a strong sales pitch to purchase yet another package. We felt like we were at a car dealership! The sales angle that they use at NDC is way too much. We loved our experience dancing, but the sales pitch at the end of our time left a very sour taste in my mouth. Be prepared for the upsell!!! read more
