My friend told me about Pak's Karate, and to too my daughter there for a trial week. Everything about Pak's was different than the other school. The kids learn discipline as well as s of defense. There Teacher Master Vince and Master Larry, do a great job teaching the kids the various forms. I like that the kids spar with each other ever day and they all grow together regardless of there belt position. Pak's Karate of Palm coast gets a 5 star rating and an A+ as a karate school.

The school has taken complete control over this recreation center. I desperately wish something…read morecould be done to restore this beautiful place. It has a beautiful Olympic sized pool, sauna, kiddie pool and decent sized gym. In addition, there are also several tennis courts behind the pool. They could easily convert to the popular pickle ball and increase some much needed revenue! Theres also an indoor fitness room that can hold large fitness classes. The school board needs to entertain the idea to let a professional organization/gym fully run this to it's potential. Look at Anastasia Fitness in St Augustine. They have a smaller location and they are thriving with memberships. They too have a pool and outdoor gym (potential at Belle Terre) Many exercise enthusiasts prefer to be in the sun while exercising!!!!! Someone on the school board-please make resolutions and let's not see this beautiful place be destroyed or closed permanently! This place was gifted by ITT many many years ago as a gift to the community and it's not being used as such. Extremely Disappointing!!!

I have also studied at the top yoga studios in the country, and Hot Yoga Lounge is seriously up on the same level as these top studios. I was shocked to find such a gem in Palm Coast (go Palm Coast!). The co-owner Heather is a seriously talented teacher (I mean how many teachers can get 25+ people to show up at 5:45 am for a steamy hot yoga class?) She is great at modifying poses from beginning through advanced students. She will (safely) push you to edges you did not know you could go to. She is also absolutely amazing at teaching arm balances in a very easy and accessible way. I am also big fans of Gillian, Rose, Amber and Karen's classes (Karen is Heather's mom btw!) All of the teachers are really great, I just have had time to go to certain instructor's classes. The best part of class...the cold cloth with essential oil. I mean wow. Such a reward after such hard work. They also have kids yoga classes while adult classes are going on which is great when you want to go to yoga but don't have a sitter. Their Barre classes are also a great workout. I can't say enough good things about this studio. Check it out if you are in the area traveling, and if you're a local get a membership! Their prices are crazy good.
