The food was delicious, and much better than expected in this small ski resort town during the off season. We had the garlic bread, gnocchi, carrots (must have in this town known for carrots), lamb, and taco. All really good, especially the gnocchi with blue cheese sauce. Lots of choices for beer, hard cider, and other drinks too. read more

The staff are great. The food was lovely. We had 3 small plates and 2 wicked (desert) plates. The plates are very very good. The desert was new York cheese cake and Snickers bar sundae. Both of which were very very good too. Highly recommend. Not cheap, but worth it. Great atmosphere. Attentive staff. read more

Loved the place! I had an amazing steak (served 'blue' just as God intended) with roasted potatoes and a delightful mushrooms, bacon and garlic sauce. The music was really according to the place the lovely dim Christmas lights hanging from the sealing set the place's atmosphere quite distinctively. Plus, the tall, blonde beautiful waitress to fall for is always well received ;) read more

Ate here with my teenage kids and we all enjoyed the main courses very much. I had the lamb with baked vegetables and it was excellent. Apple and rhubarb crumple with ice cream was served in a tall glass which was odd. Good latte! Otherwise good service and recommend!! read more

Not safe for children, attitude of manager made our children cry, we had to leave before we could even order. I suggest anyone with family looking for a nice evening out try one of the other restaurants in Ohakune. Worst restaurant experience ever! read more

Very nice cafe. The food is cheap comparing to the good value. It is not too crowded in lunch time. It is such s nice place to eat. But come before 2 if you want lunch because kitchen close around 2. read more
