First of all they insisted the piece needed lasering instead of soldering and charged me a fortune to "send it out". The piece is sapphires and diamonds and actually a skilled jeweler knows you don't have to laser sapphires and diamonds. The problem is they don't have a skilled jeweler. They have the owner's son with about three weeks of training. Having said they were sending out to be lasered, it's pretty clear "Junior" used it as a practice piece, because it was so bad, I am now having it redone at Tilden Ross, a real jeweler.
