I would highly recommend paying a visit for the pub quiz (every Monday at 8.30) as it's a lot of fun and great value for money at only £1 a head! Plus the pub is kind enough to provide pizza and chips for each table during the interval. Now that's what I call a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Walking in tonight was like seeing a group of old friends. The Pub is warm and welcoming. There are romantic tucked away corners with warm cozy wood burners in many of the dining areas. It is polished but not at all fussy. The food. The food! It is consistently fresh, expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. We have been to restaurants all over the UK and Ireland and the Hinds Head is the one we always want to come back to visit. This restaurant is by far my favorite place to visit. It is worth the drive. We will be visiting the UK again in the summer and we will make the trip to Norton-in-Hales to enjoy this lovely restaurant again.

The drinks are cheap, the food is of good value and of excellent quality for a Wetherspoons pub, and due to the fact there's no music played there you can actually carry on a conversation in the evening! I like the fact that it's become not just a venue for a night out, but more of a cafe/resturant as well, for I quite often meet up with friends there just for a cup of tea and a chat on the sofas. Full marks all around.
