    Drop off and pick up was seamless. The bed was clean and met our needs perfectly. Easy process from start to finish. Highly recommend!

    Cash in the Nursery has a weird name. But that shouldn't stop you from checking out this locally…read moreowned consignment shop. I went here with my mom last week and was pleasantly surprised. It is located behind Dodges Fried Chicken in a little house. It feels homey when you walk in too. It is a little crowded but that just means it's stuffed with treasures :) They have baby and toddlers clothing and accessories. There isn't any furniture in this shop but the owner did mention she sometimes has a couple pieces in her other store (which is across the street). You could tell every piece of clothing was inspected for quality. Everything looked new and in some cases it was. It didn't feel like I was looking at used clothing, nothing was wrinkled, stinky or stained. Everyone knows baby clothes are expensive and they grow out of them so darn quick, they sometimes only get to wear them a couple of times. That's why this is such a good idea. I ended up walking out with 2 really cute onsies (a dollar each) and a pair of jeans (i think 4 dollars?) AND a cloth pocket diaper that was locally hand made, these are new, not used. I am most excited about the cloth diaper because if you are a cloth diapering parent in Ft. Walton Beach you know your only option is to buy online and I like to actually touch things before I buy them. My baby isn't here yet but I'll update you on the success of the diaper once I actually get to use it. The owner was very sweet and helpful and I'll definitely be back again and again.

    I participated for the first time in their fall consignment sale at the fairgrounds. The sale was…read moreincredibly over crowded with items and most of these items were not in the "like-new" condition stated on their website. After I had meticulously sorted through my items to ensure they were quality, stain-free items that met their inspection guidelines, I learned that there is no inspection. They will take anything, and everything. Obviously! At the end of the sale, I returned to pick up my unsold items. I realized quickly that I had several rather expensive items missing. They were not there for me to pick up and they were not listed as sold. I immediately informed the owners of the mistake. I was told they would look into it and get back to me. I called a few days later to see if there had been any progress and was told, again, that they would get back to me. After three phone calls like this, I went to their store. At that point I was told in no uncertain terms that my items had been donated and since this "was not [their] fault", there was nothing they could do. Explain to me how donating my items after I specifically told them not to is NOT their fault. After suggesting that they find a solution, I was told I was being an "ungrateful little b****" and asked to leave. Also, the store was in the same condition as the sale at the fairgrounds; overcrowded with items more appropriate for the Goodwill than a "high scale" consignment shop. This is not how a business owner should run their business if they want to stay open. My suggestion is to try Nursery Rhyme on a Dime. They are much more professional and the quality of items is considerably better.

    Unethical Business Practices…read more I bought a bunch of furniture through them during my initial move to this area, one being a dining room table. A couple years later the finish on the table started peeling so I made a claim on the warranty I purchased. The claim was initially denied because the report erroniously said scratches, which they don't cover. I had a second assessor come out and they put peeling in the report...claim was still denied citing it wasn't "manufacturer peeling" (what does that even mean). I spoke to the store manager and he said "he would try and work something out". He then proceeded to duck my calls (about 30 of them) for the next 8 months until my claim was past the 3-year warranty mark and, "at this time there is nothing we can do". I spoke to the Customer Care department and they didn't even attempt to provide a solution even after I made them aware that I now needed to fill an apartment with furniture and was looking to see who I would do business with. They could care less about missing out on the sale of an apartment full of furniture...all over a dining room table. I have had few customer service experiences as bad as this one. AVOID!!!

I visited your store located at 4404 Legendary Dr, Destin, FL 32541,where I worked with sales representative Ray Belville.Following this,I made a purchase for a bedroom set and living room set, with delivery scheduled for March 27th between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.The delivery team arrived at 9:30 AM, and the setup process took approximately one hour.Upon inspection of the delivered items,I noticed several issues: *A mark on the headboard, *Scratches on the dressers and nightstands, *Black marks on the mattress, and *A large black mark on the sofas. I immediately reached out to Mr. Belville,who informed me that customer care would contact me regarding these issues.Unfortunately,I never received any follow-up communication from customer care,which prompted me to reach out to them directly.I was advised that the earliest available time for a resolution would be April 5th. On April 5th,the delivery was scheduled between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:45 PM,I received a call from customer care confirming my address, and I noticed that the delivery truck was parked outside. However,the drivers were not present. Upon inquiry,I learned they had gone to the wrong building.After they returned,I kindly asked if they had booties and gloves,which they did not. I offered to provide these for them, but when I returned outside five minutes later, the truck had left.I then received two missed calls from Vincent Smith,the delivery manager,who claimed the driver had reported that I was being rude. I would like to clarify that I was not rude, but simply trying to ensure proper care during the delivery, given the issues I had already experienced.The core concern here is that the delivery was scheduled from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM,but the drivers did not arrive until 4:50 PM without any prior communication about their delay.I am not sure if the delivery crew was aware that the delivery was for the third floor and there was no elevator and decided not to do the delivery.Given the multiple delays,lack of communication,and poor customer service,I would appreciate your immediate attention to resolving these issues.I request that the damaged items be replaced or repaired promptly and that the delivery be completed without further inconvenience.Thank you for your time and understanding.I look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter.
