Member perks are amazing, shrinking but still enough to say members have privileges! Like 2pm checkout! You do have to stay twice as many times to get a free nights stay but it's more than a box with a bed and water closet. I feel at home here. I even bought all the linen, comforters and pillows from the Sault Ste Marie hotel at cost because I had the best nights sleep and wanted that at home too! Make your money mean something again. Stay here and be the king and queen you are!

However we were misinformed as voucher is only good for continental breakfast, not brunch. The manager made an exception due to misinformation. Kudos to the manager. Room very clean. However, housekeeping did not do a thorough job first night (trash not emptied, short on towels). Also had to call maintenance to fix TV and repair shower handle. Maintenance was very prompt and effective. The hotel just needs a little oversight on small issues like this. Hotel is located in the harbor district and footbridge gives access to downtown. Not sure I would venture there after dark. The Bright restaurant next to hotel is outstanding. Go there. Would stay there again. Keep traveling.

You have to walk downstairs through the Lobby to the Restaurant and order your food, then go wait in your room until they call you - And then walk back down to the restaurant and pick up your order on a cafeteria tray, and cart it back to your room through the hotel and all the people "hanging out" in the Lobby... There is a bar in the hotel (like most hotels I've been in), as well as an LCBO liquor store in the same building - But the amount of blatantly intoxicated people wandering around here is rather alarming, I have been in fear or my safety on a few different occasions since we checked in... VERY noisy at all times of the day and night, and especially from around 11pm to 5am... I will say that all of the hotel staff that I have encountered have been incredibly pleasant and accommodating, so there is that at least, for the positive side!
