I enjoy having a restaurant in our little town but their prices are way too high. I don't think they will remain in this town too much longer if it costs $55 bucks or more to feed 4 people dinner. The food order gets messed up or items missing often. I go back up to fix it if I feel like or just suck it up!!! The pizza is never the same twice. So pizza is 6/10 and other entrees maybe 7/10. Stopped in today with a buddy for a quick lunch as he was working locally and this was the closest spot. Corner Grill is great for dinner and I love their pizza so why not give them a go for lunch. We got the cheese curds to get things start, but I was too busy eating those to take a picture. Another thing I live about this place is that they have Diet Mt Dew on tap!! When its too early in the day for me to hit the Capn, Diet Dew is my go too. So bigs thumbs up from me there. I got the lunch cheeseburger special and my buddy got the grilled tenderloin of the full menu. Had I not already had lunch before I got the invite to come to 2nd lunch I would have gotten a bigger sammich. Overall the burger was about what I expected for the lunch special price, decent patty and a good amount of fries, not enough for a food coma but enough to keep the tummy tumblers at bay. The tenderloin my buddy got was AWESOME and I highly suggest that if you are looking for a bigger lunch. Very clean, great customer service. Beer is cold. The bar has a border of ice to sit your beer, drink, or pitcher on to keep cold. The men's bathroom has a mirror tv. We ordered a sampler of appetizers consisting of deep fried mushrooms, onion rings, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks with pizza sauce, cheese sauce and house sauce. Hubs ordered a bleu cheese burger that came with seasoned fries. I had a steak quesadilla, served with house sauce. House sauce was very good - sour cream, chipotle and horseradish. It was a good meal. The service was excellent. The manager came to the table to be sure we were happy with our food. Our server checked on us without hovering and other staff cleared our dishes as soon as they were empty. The menu offers burgers, wraps and salads. we went here for the first time to meet my soon to be sister inlaw's parents and to have lunch after a looonnnggg day of traveling. I must say it is very clean and has a nice atmosphere and design AND they are soooo FRIENDLY!!!! It was definetly a nice change from the California treatment and it made me realize one thing I really miss about being home..... On top of the great change of pace and service the food was reallllllyyyy good. I had saurkraut pizza (which also is not available in CA lol) and mashed potoates (which were amazing) and fried califlower. My husband had a chicken sandwhich with fries and he really liked that also....we all had a meal and were all very happy with our meals :) couldnt have asked for more! Also we sat and talked and didnt feel rushed to leave or clear the table it was great. Quiet enought to talk and hear eachother and enjoy good food and good people! Then tossed in Buffalo sauce and presented on a bakery style bun with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato and ranch on the side. I had mine with blue cheese crumbles on the top which was outstanding!! The side of natural cut fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and seasoned lightly to perfection! (I was told these fries are brined natural cut) Ive rambled on about this sandwich because I was so impressed with the quality and flavor! A fairly standard bar and grill menu, with sandwiches and burgers executed well but non-notably. Similar to a Chilli's, inoffensive and generic. We had six people, two out of the six had minor errors: olives were in a salad that had asked for none and a side of ranch was missed. Very nice atmosphere with a lot of nice touches at the bar and in the restroom that were covered in previous reviews. There is free popcorn which is a nice touch. The food was tasty and well presented but there were a couple of of drawbacks that kinda put a damper on things. Grandma had a cob salad half portion that was very generous and very fresh. Grandpa had a soup and salad with a gigantic bowl of chili . I had the cod sandwich which was heavily battered and kinda crunchy although the fish did taste ok. Large portion of fries. My wife had a sante fe wrap that was tasty. It was a fairly good meal overall with the exception of my fish sandwich and the fact they charged grandpa 3 dollars! for his 8 ounce (at most) glass of milk which is ridiculous. I'm being a bit generous when I say this place is mediocre at best. I've been here several times. Each time, the food takes a ridiculously long time to arrive (even when not busy) and you have to end up walking to the bar to ask for anything you need because your waitress is no where to be found and never returns after dropping off the food. The free popcorn is nice. You'll need it while waiting so long for your food to arrive. The atmosphere is nice. The prices are expensive for average food you can get anywhere else for cheaper. She is unprofessional and flat out annoying. The only other con about the corner grill is they seem to run the patrons out with the vacuuming! I am consistently disappointed when I go here. I keep giving them more chances since I live in the area. The waiting times are far too long for the food and the food is frequently subpar. This last time I ordered the steak sandwich which was too tough to chew or even cut easily. The bun on the bottom of the sanwhich was so soggy it was disintegrating. We came into this establishment with about 15 people without giving any advance notice and the service we received was fantastic! They graciously put tables together for us. They even accommodated additional stragglers we had show up. Everyone's order was perfect and they all came out together rather than sporadically. The food was amazing. Everyone's looked wonderful. I wanted to try it all. The servers were on the ball with refilling drinks and bringing out the checks. We didn't have to wait long for anything. Highly recommend! I can't wait to go back! read more

My girlfriend and I stopped by The Corner Grill before we went to the drive in. Honestly we chose the place just because we liked the color scheme. When it came to parking, it was a very small parking lot but we managed. We walked in through what I assume is the main entrance, the one that's off the parking lot, and the place was busy. Lots of middle aged men standing around, crowding the path, so the girl that had led us to our booth had to weave us through the small crowd. The crowd was a little unsettling (as a majority of them were all standing feet away from our table) and it certainly wasn't a quiet atmosphere. My girlfriend had ordered some kind of wrap and I had ordered the Kahuna Burger. We waited around twenty-five minutes for our food, which is a bit extensive. But when we got it, it was great. I can't tell you how her wrap tasted, but she told me it was one of the best wraps she ever had. And I can easily say it was one of the best burgers I've had (and some great fries), well worth the wait. The service was good, unfortunately we didn't get any updates on our food, but she did make sure our drinks were always filled.
