The pizza had just the right amount of toppings, and was baked well. The sauce was semi sweet and thick, which went well with the pan-thickness of the crust. My husband and I were happy to find that the mushrooms on the deluxe were fresh, not canned. The whole pizza, from the flavor of the cheese, to the bake on the crust, gave us a feeling of nostalgia in the best way. Two show up and both rated the same. I ordered a large with half pepperoni and mushroom, the other half onion and pineapple. Also garlic bread sticks with marinara. On the drive home I dove in and devoured the bread sticks. I really liked the marinara! I had 2 slices while driving and it was pretty solid. Pizza is subjective and one person's holy grail is another's meh. This was solid in the middle good. It scratched the itch I had for pizza for sure. Solid 4 stars.
