Fantastic location for the convention center. Beautiful architecture. All of the event rooms are comfortably designed. Nice layout, very easy to get around.

This is a really nice convention center that I had the pleasure of visiting for a three-day conference. The entire facade of the six story building is window, giving great amounts of natural light onto each floor as well as sweeping views of the Liffey River and the south side of Dublin (particularly if you take the never-ending escalators up to the top). The staff is very friendly and they seemed to go out of their way to assist the convention-goers. I also noticed them constantly making sure that all areas were clean and tidy. The Center also boasts of numerous meeting rooms, conference rooms, and a large, comfortable, and beautiful multi-floor auditorium.

I have visited the Dublin Convention Centre several times for a variety of events from the Dublin Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner to the Dublin Tattoo Convention and many others few and far between. The Dublin Convention Centre is a remarkable building with exquisite exterior and wonderful exhibition space. The hospitality staff are always polite and and professional. I believe the catering experience to be one of the best among the convention centres I have visited. The location is central and makes it a fantastic attribute to Dublin for various events.

Lets face it - this place is really cool. They have an amazing building and an amazing space. there is ample room for any event you could want to host here and its dead easy to get get via public transport into the IFSC. I have only been here for a few events, one of which was the last Comicon and it was perfect. The staff were brilliant, the facilities were exactly what you would want, and the prices were not bad for the event as well. Can't wait to return for Comicon next year.

The RDS has also become the adopted home of Leinster Rugby, as Donnybrook can no longer satisfy the demand for tickets. I was at the Leinster-Ulster game on St. Stephens Day, and I have to say it was the most atmosphere-free match of anything I've ever attended. I'm not sure if it's the fault of the fans or the stadium itself but, for me, watching sports should involve a bit of shouting. There were no songs to be sung, and the closest we came to straining our voices were the rare drones of "Leinster, Leinster, Leinster". It was all a bit crap really, and massively at odds with the last four games I've attended-which were all at Croker(Dublin/West-Meath, Ireland/Italy, Ireland/Montenegro, Ireland/France).
