My experience with Mr. Tabaku and this firm was absolutely terrible! I had to schedule regular meetings with Mr. Tabaku to make sure things were being completed in the time frame he told me they would. Either Mr. Tabaku and James Crawford law firm are way too busy or there was simply a lack of interest in my case. Mr. Tabaku frequently promised to file motions, request subpoenas and other work would be completed by certain dates and would not be delivered. I would give an additional 3-day grace period and it still would not be done so I was compelled to begin scheduling weekly meetings to make sure he is doing the things he is promising he would do by the dates he promised them. These weekly meetings added up my costs. Additionally, my father, uncle, and I had to have more than 7 meetings with Mr. Tabaku and/or Zachary Groves (Partner at James Crawford Law Firm) to address Mr. Tabaku's lack of responsiveness (disappearing for weeks at a time), late motions, and other grievances. Ironically, I was billed for these meetings as well. I would not have had to request these meetings regularly if Mr. Tabaku had simply met the expectations he set. Divorce is a very stressful event as it is. For your attorney to not meet deadlines that were promised to me and with no communication only further adds to the anxiety.
