I won't give this place a 1 star, as really, I didn't get to try it out. We visited when it was relatively busy, but we were acknowledged when we walked in. We sat down in a corner, found a menu - simple offerings (ham, tuna, cheese... sandwich, salad etc) which were not the most inspiring, but we were both hungry, tired and in need of a cup of tea. After 5 minutes or so, I got up to order at the counter, thinking that given no-one had spoken to us, that perhaps it wasn't table service. A waitress told us to sit back down and someone would see us...

after another 10mins and still, no one even saying 'hey, be right over', we gave up. Really needed a cup of tea. As we were putting on our jackets, a lady came over to take our order, but it was too late by then for my patience. While I appreciate when it's busy it's hard to juggle, but apart from being told to sit down by one girl (who subsequently left minutes later) it didn't even seem that anyone was aware we were there. For an uninspiring tuna sandwich and cup of tea, I wasn't willing to wait for 15mins to find out. read more
