This is probably the slowest service I've received from a food place whose main product is coffee and sandwich/pastries/cakes. The time I went to this place did not have many customers at all. So I expected a lot about the speedy service given that the place was not jampacked when I ate here. Need I say more that even the queue to order was slow and when I paid with cash, I was even asked if I have Php5 because they don't have enough change! If there is a negative rating for this I will give this place that for those very important elements of providing good customer experience in a food place.

And yes, it didn't really get crowded so I could concentrate here. One time when I was in Starmall recently I passed by Figaro just to take a peek, and it still looked cozy and quiet as when I used to spend a lot of time there. Usually an hour or two was all I needed to break the monotony of work or home. I just usually order a drink like hot chocolate, or even just their steamed milk. But one time, when I got to writing for quite a while until dinnertime, I ordered their pesto pasta, and it was nice. Not the best one I ever had (I'm a fan of pesto pasta so I eat it at almost every Italian restaurant at least), but certainly good enough.

The branch also has outdoor seating for those who prefer a smoking area, it's a little cramped though so better lower your voice when chatting with your friends. All in all, this branch is LOVE! I recommend this for those who want to get work done over coffee or simply have their me time.

They pretty much serve mostly all-day breakfast food like tapa, tocino, bangus, hotdog, and other kinds of meat cooked different ways with no other than their star - the sinangag a.k.a. fried rice. However, the only thing I ever order is their tapa, which is basically beef flakes. I like to have them cook it thoroughly until almost crispy, as it goes well with their spicy vinegar and my sunny side up egg that's cooked over-easy, just the way I like it. I usually like to have soda with meals like this, but here, I have it with their very own iced tea. It may be a bit sweet for some, but for me, it's the perfect end to a salty-and-spicy meal.

I don't mind being there for a while but I'll enjoy it if I'm actually quite comfortable. Tazza Cafe came with high recommendations from the bf and his friend who frequent Banawe and know it like the back of their hands, in a manner of speaking. It's a resto-coffee shop and that's as good as it gets for me. So I didn't mind that we were there early or that there was already quite a few people in the car wash because I have a place to keep me occupied and the car shop is actually pretty big that it can accommodate a lot of cars and do things quickly. When I get my car washed at Genki Car Spa, I wait around at the tables outside Tazza Café, reading comics or playing games on my phone. The good thing about Tazza is that they're not strict about people who sit on the outside tables, because you're not forced to order something from them. I haven't had any of the meals yet, but they offer a wide variety of American, Japanese, Italian and Filipino cuisine. They have a little bit of everything, and I'm kinda worried whether they can pull off each and every menu item well. I did have a go at their Oreo Cheesecake, and I was pretty satisfied. The overall ambiance isn't bad for a place to wait while getting your car washed, but I think there are better options for the price range.

Twittea is chill and I love them for it. It's definitely a relaxing place to spazz and have some tea. And they have a pretty good menu, too. From sandwiches (Pesto and Mozarella. Yes. Excellent.) to pasta and pastry, there's definitely something that's bound to go with whatever tea you've decided to have. Their tea also has this nice fresh crispness to it. The flavors don't get in the way of the tea so you have a pleasant brightness with their tea. That's the only way I could describe it. A cute note: when you order their tea to go, they put it in a plastic cup but if you order tea and have it in the cafe, they put it in a mason jar. Nice touch.
