This is a solid gym. It has great strength training equipment, especially if you are into CrossFit or just prefer training with free weights. They have rouge everything (power racks, barbells, bumper plates, etc.) as well as kettlebells, dumbbells, assault bikes, rowing machines, and a sled. Some of the top gym equipment in the Pensacola area that I've seen. If you are a bodybuilder and prefer isolation work, this is not the place for you.
It has several batting cages as well as a basketball/volleyball court. My only complaint with the court is that it's concrete. It's harder to keep clean so you slip around more which isn't the safest IMO. But it's not the worst.
This gym is made for young athletes (middle school-college). Adults can get good use out of it, but if you're looking for a lifting community then you can either go somewhere else or bring some friends with you to this gym (but let's be honest, if you're going to get a quick lift in, you shouldn't be talking for hours on end anyways).
In summary, I personally think this gym is best for teens and young adult athletes. If you're looking for a place with a little bit of everything, hit up the YMCA downtown (good luck getting in a game of pick up there though). But I like the Clubhouse. I won't buy a membership, but I'll definitely play basketball there from time to time. read more
