Being a local lad, this pub has been my dads drinking spot for years and one that I enjoy a few in every now and again.
Showing all the football, this old-fashioned pub is what you would come to expect of this sort of establishment. Friendly humour and copious amounts of drinking.
Recently undergoing a refurbishment, the Clock seems to be trying to move away from the stereotypical view it may have acquired over the past few years, with a lick of paint and new owners, working alongside Richard, the heart and soul of the pub, it has since attracted attention in an area that has seen various pubs fall by the waste side.
If given a chance, I'm sure the Clock will be able to make a lasting impression on anyone who enters, with a warm atmosphere accompanied by friendly staff and brilliant priced beer, making it a winner all round. read more
