There are lots of points to review, so excuse me as I expound: 1) The atmosphere is light and cheery with a definite homeopathic-feel. 2) The waiting room is not the cleanest, but pleasant enough with a section for kids to play. 3) You'll have plenty of time to enjoy it because the Dr's will spend as much time with their patients as they need, resulting in an easy, non-rushed feel with the Doc, but chronic long waits to get there. I usually get in to see the nurse about 30 minutes after my appointment time and then wait another 10 or 15 minutes until I see the Dr. 4) The nurses here are incredible and make up for the no-nonsense affect of the Docs. They greet you with a smile and encouragements. My son has had 4 immunizations so far and has not cried a single time (though he screamed for a whole day after a shot from our previous doc, so I give those nurses the credit).

The time in 2020 was wonderful - the people were nice, everything went well, and I got better. I even recommended it to a few friends. Fast forward to this year. My visit in January went well, I was seen and treated, and a prescription was sent over to the pharmacy. While I did end up waiting a bit after my appointment time, it was nothing super major. The bad & ugly: After my visit in January, I received my bill post-insurance. Before I even received the paper bill, I received a text message and phone call requesting payment. The voicemail didn't even tell me who they were, just that they were from the "billing department." Immediately upon receiving the statement in the mail (on Feb. 21), I submitted it to my HSA (Health Savings Account) for payment which can take up to 30 days for the payment to clear. In those 30 days, I received a second physical bill in the mail and an additional text message and 2 phone calls. I called and told them that the payment was in the mail. After yet another physical bill two weeks ago, I called and sent them proof of payment from the HSA (HSA confirmed the check cleared on March 13). Then, another two weeks go by, and I receive yet another bill on Apr. 15, this time labeled "Final Statement Before Further Action." The redemption: At this point, I was clearly frustrated and annoyed. So, I left a negative review here. The next day, I heard from the office manager wanting to call and talk to me by phone. I sent him the proof of payment and told him when he could call. During the phone call, he apologized about the issue I was having and said that he would track down the missing payment. By the end of the day, he had found the deposited check. And, finally, my outstanding balance was resolved. In summary (TL;DR): I thought the staff at the office were nice, personable, and helpful. They definitely helped me out when I was pretty sick and needed to be seen as soon as possible. However, billing leaves much to be desired. My hope is that my experience is a one-time and not a systemic problem. Only time will tell.

I was here weekly and then bI-weekly for years following transplant. Unfortunately they seem to have seriously cut staff. They no longer take walkins or fill same day appointments, and they run considerably behind schedule even on days with no one in the waiting room. My last experience involved a 40 minute wait for an appointment I arrived 10 minutes early for while the staff chatted behind the reception desk. Unfortunately, I would recommend LabCorp over this experience now.

Today I received a nasty letter stating that I didn't reply to a letter they allegedly sent me in February. The letter went on to chastise me for not coming in within the past year, and indicated that if I do not contact them "now" to schedule an appointment, they will be contacting my insurance carrier. They will tell the carrier that I have elected to discontinue my "assignation" with their providers. The letter went on to state that they will only be able to provide me with emergency care until 5/14/26, as "this 30 day period should allow you adequate time to locate and select another physician of your choice. We strongly recommend that you place yourself with another provider as soon as possible." Keep in mind that I received this letter today, May 5, 2026. The letter is dated 4/14/26, and the practice is about a fifteen minute drive from my house. So they put me on notice that they're also putting my insurance carrier on notice that "our doctor/patient relationship will be terminated." Good. Saves me the trouble.

The nurse and doctors were outstanding at Phoenixville hospital. They made my daughter feel welcome, better and started the healing process. (the exact opposite of the experience at AFC in Phoenixville). I loved how the doctors brought my daughter juice and crackers. They tried to make her smile. Normal business thrive by word of mouth, people's experiences at the business. Apparently, some hospitals dont care about people's experiences and previews of the hospital. TOWER needs to do an assessment on Phoenixville Hospital. Is competency a value for a worker? How about bedside manners? My dad got sent there from his rehabilitation center (wouldn't have been my choice, considering the 2 star rating), he went in as a cautionary call, and was kept there on 4 south for days, nothing wrong, to be sent back to the rehabilitation centers around 10:30-11pm with pneumonia. The transport team made note to the facility that they didn't feel comfortable transporting my dad back, but the "nurse", sent him anyway with his oxygen levels under 90. He came in the hospital levels in the 90s , 10/2/26 around 12:10pm oxygen level was 99, after relatives leaves, his levels drops 86, with 6 units of oxygen needed. Between 12P and 10:30P my dad was severely neglected by the staff at Phoenixville. They sent him back to the rehab center sick, and almost near midnight, where the rehab center might not have been ready to take on a situation like that. The culpability of extremely neglecting is with Phoenixville, as the rehabilitation center, sent my dad back to Phoenixville to give care for him on a medical issue that he encountered at Phoenixville. After speaking to a couple of medical personnel at Phoenixville, I see why this hospital ratings are low. The audacity, rudeness, lack of professionalism that i encountered from the nurse is appalling. The personnel who identified themself as the manager was dodging the accountability and negligence of the hospital. Was asked to have the patient service to call so that I can express my discomfort with my dad there, and im still waiting 5 hours later. To add insult to injury, when I call to inquire on my dad's health, I was told by a nurse, that if I don't like the care my dad is receiving, I can transfer him to another facility. If it was not for my dad being so far away from home (Philadelphia), i would have transfer him to a more competent hospital in the city. In addition to, not letting this hospital off the hook, when he was kept there (being ok), running his insurance up, and send him back sick after billing the insurance for almost 6 days. ALARMING. After reading up to 10 reviews with 1 to 2 stars, TOWER, a class action needs to be filed against your group. If you know there's incompetency issues, and sit by and do nothing, your the culprit of people demise. As a couple of reviews were described, 4 south personnel needs restructuring. New broom sweeps old dirt clean. Arrogance and ignorance is the same personality trait that the medical professionals should not have. This hospital have both traits in their staff. An advocacy group needs to follow up with this hospital Chief of Staff. I feel sorry for Phoenixville residents, because if this is the quality of care you get, move back to the city for your health sake.
