I have been using The Cleaning Authority - Brandon since the beginning of 2018, and I couldn't be happier with their service ~ especially Team #33, Adriana and Damaris. They are truly the best in the area! There have been a few occasions when I had to reschedule and they weren't available, and I can honestly say other teams just don't compare to Team #33. Adriana and Damaris are always respectful, professional, and deliver high-quality work. They consistently do exactly what they're supposed to ~ and they do it well. On the occasions I've had a concern, either I mention it directly to them or their manager, Yaritza, communicates it to them. Every single time, they've listened and improved immediately. That level of responsiveness and accountability means a lot. Refuses to reimburse me after over 20 years with this company multiple referrals and homes. Refuses to reimburse me for broken Item, stolen item and returned check fee. I've been a Client in multiple states ove 20 years with many referrals and multiple homes. When I followed up on my claim I was told by Meritza that she didn't think my business was good for their business as if this is my fault. It's been over 2 months with no response so this is telling me they aren't going to pay my claim of 200. Dollars If you do the math Maritza you loss way more for this business over the claim for the many years I was with your company. read more

The Cleaning Authority has been cleaning my 2400+ sq ft house bi-monthly since 2015. We've tried other companies and private cleaners but no one does the job team #1(Yamella + Karol) does on our house. They are quick, efficient, and quiet. My husband and I work from home so this important. They work around us. We have two teenagers and I wonder some days how they are able to transform their rooms so quickly. There are some challenges such as communication. There is no one EVER in the office. But whatever, the rare issues have been, they are always corrected. I also love the TCA points program that earn us points towards free cleanings. If you do decide to try TCA and this review positively impacted your decision to do so, please share my name. This company was assigned to my rental home for quite some time for routine cleaning. When it came time for cleanout, when my tenant vacated, I provided a detailed list of what was to be de one. I verified that the Cleaning Authority received the list. When I returned to my vacated home, I met with the Cleaning Authority staff & asked where the list was. They did not have it but were finishing up the job. I noted the very moldy shower stall & they explained they are a 'green' company & does not have a product to rid of the mold. They did not slide the rolling refrigerator out to clean under it, ...said they 'do not move heavy items". And they did not change light bulbs or clean ceiling fans and fixtures claiming they cannot do so for risk of fall. This should have been discussed/disclosed prior to my tenant leaving the home cleaning in their care. There was much further confusion back/forth with management. I had to bring in someone else to complete the cleaning and charge my tenant for what they did not complete. This would cause me to review them very poorly. read more

We have used the Cleaning Authority, office in Brandon, Florida since December - 2016. For the most part all has been pretty good and consistent. The same lead lady since day one, her assistant has changed maybe three times. Here lately the service has begun to go slightly down hill. They seem to be in a rush to finish within 90 minutes, causing many misses and so-so attention. The vacuuming is missing quite a bit, mopping OK. Some of the glass is not being cleaned, i.e., a door glass has not been cleaned for the last two cleans, same hand / finger prints. The part that really annoys me, the office. The office NEVER has anyone there. Whenever I have called since 2016 the calls are ALWAYS forwarded to a call center. I provide the call taker with my info, they confirm all of my information, the call taker advises they will notify the Brandon, Florida office. I NEVER receive a call back from the office. Never ! The latest call to the Brandon office was yesterday, 05.21.2018 at 12:36 pm regarding the last clean, and yes it went to the call center. As of this writing 05.22.2018 at 4:02 pm, I am still waiting for that call. Still waiting for the return calls I made months ago. They obviously have "NO sense of Urgency." If the Brandon office can forward the calls to a call center thousands of miles away, why can't they forward the calls to a Brandon office employees cell phone or other device, LOCALLY? For the most part, The Cleaning Authority employees are good, better than most. The office and management have to get their act together. read more

I paid $340 to have an EMPTY 400 sq ft studio cleaned after a bathroom renovation. An easy job. I paid the extra fees for cabinets and drawers to be wiped out, and for walls to be wiped down. I came home to painters tape still on the walls-clearly not wiped down as I'd paid for. Upper cabinets were untouched - "oh, we don't get on ladders". I'm 5'3". I stood on a two step stool and was able to wipe out the cabinets myself, AFTER I'd PAID to have them cleaned! There is ONE ceiling fan. It was untouched. I cleaned after they left and sent photos of the room after they'd "cleaned", then after I cleaned the same areas, and a photo of the sink full of dirty water after I'd cleaned. I was offered a $50 refund, which was never credited to my account. Weeks later, someone from their agency knocked on my door to clean. I'd never scheduled another cleaning. I told her i didn't schedule. She came back again 5 minutes later and argued with me about it. When she finally left, she drove thru our lawn! I cannot express just how unhappy i am with this company. Terribly unprofessional, ineffective, and generally utterly awful! read more

I have been a Cleaning Authority customer for over 4 years. I couldn't be happier with the service I've received. The teams are reliable and thorough. My current team, #39 Mayra and Nidia are the sweetest ladies. They always show up with a smile and do an amazing job! And the company is so easy to work with. When I need to reschedule cleanings, they always work with me and my hectic schedule. They are very reasonably priced and bring all their own cleaning products and equipment. Its a shame they don't have negative stars. We have tried and tried to be patient with this outfit - and have been with them for over a year - and they are just terrible - today was the final straw. I let two ladies into my home at 8:20 and before 9:15 they were gone - a 2600 sq ft home - amazing. I went into the master bathroom and the floors were still dirty - never washed - there supposedly vacuumed the family room, but there was still hair from the dogs and a cough drop wrapper on the floor. The 2nd bathroom had not even been cleaned - they never went in there. Dust on the furniture - nothing picked up. I will never ever recommend this outfit to anyone. The Cleaning Authority's team 33, Maria and Adriana, have been cleaning my home, and I look forward to every visit! *cue hallelujah chorus* They remember the quirks I have and are able to tidy what I haven't managed to put away -- sometimes an embarrassing amount! Finally had to fire them. The soaked my wood floors with dirty water, they don't clean corners, left food crumbs on the floor, didn't clean the shower, swept dirt in front of the front door, and left a dirty mop head in my plants! I had spoken with them about these issues before and they were not corrected. Please save your money and don't use them. read more

I hired the Cleaning Authority to do a move out cleaning, all they did was a basic cleaning but I was charged 65.00 an hour do it! They did a very poor job leaving hair on the bathroom counters, not rinsing the tub, not cleaning the mirrors. When I tried to speak to them guess what? They didn't speak English!!!!!! And when I told them I was not happy she said :OK sorry" and shrugged her shoulders and left! If I were you I would not hire these people especially if you don't speak Spanish! I called but no one bothered to call me back or stop by! read more
