I went there on Tuesday afternoon at 7pm for a haircut cut and beard line up. It cost $60 and I didn't even get a line up with the haircut and they didn't even trim the beard as well. There are surrounding barbers that cut hair and beards for less than $50 but they will charge you $60 for a haircut and no line up. I went in to get my money back and they refuse saying that they charge extra for lineups. This is the only barbershop in the area that does that so I would avoid going here. It's a waste of money. And they will go in there insulting you and joking around like they don't care. read more

I called to see if they had an appointment the guy on the phone said yes come at 4pm so I did but when I arrived he was on break or something so I waited and then he came 15 minutes later but went into the back even though he knew I was there, another barber Isaiah finished up his clients haircut and offered to cut my hair. So 25 minutes after 4 he cut my hair, he was really nice and friendly luckily he saved my review from a 1 to a 4 star. Isaiah I highly recommend, experienced, doesn't have an ego and friendly. What is there not to like about this spot... It's Covid safe.. (outdoor haircuts are available for the paranoid) The shop is Very well kept, nice lounging chairs to watch sports and fights.. Not to mention great customer service! I book with Luis every time, he's quick with his responses and gets you in as you request. He's friendly and very professional and my picky kids are very pleased with his skills. People are on here complaining about high prices. I agree kids cuts are on the high end, but due to to Covid. I'm not shocked with the prices at this location or at any salon or barber shop in the Valley. You get what you pay for. So this is my first cut I've gotten at The Classic Man, another review was posted earlier of the same cut but this entire experience has been the craziest thing I've ever dealt with. I am the person in those photos. My original picture was to give a reference of how my hair actually looked like before the cut and that's the after. I asked for a mid to high fade on the hair cut and wanted a mullet type style with my fade. I know it's a different type of haircut but when you receive that type of cut where they marked my ear with a razed blade and made my skin extra irritated even after getting my cut 2 days ago. So I would love for you guys to be the judge of this cut and see if it's worth the 60 dollars that I provided. I understand that these type of mistakes happen in this type of industry and I am okay with that, but things took a turn where I now wanted to write this review. I called for the owner/manager (Mike/Michael) of the store in order to review these photos and see if he can provide me some sort of refund for this type of experience that I dealt with, beside the unaligned beard I got and scratching my ear with the razer blade, my main concern was this haircut. I will give him one thing , he was trying to be helpful for providing me haircuts, about 3 free haircuts he claims is a ($170 value). He claimed "that im taking money away from the store with these cuts" so I just asked we can cut ties and just end it with my 60 dollar refund. He then flipped a switch. He called me stating that this was a good cut and that he can fix it , I wasn't comfortable with that and appreciated his offer but I just wanted my money and we end of on a good note . Im a 19 year old , and I mentioned that since he asked. He called me "childish" and stating "that I don't know anything and I'm incompetent " he then went off on a tangent that im not cooperating , he only offered me that one solution and I told him that's fine sir, if you think the cut is fine and that's the only thing you have to offer, thank you for that but I'm just going to write a review and let the people decide. This is where he continued to increase his childishness. First off I hear the coworkers in the back laughing back at the phone call and stating to just give me my 60 dollars and other just laughing ahout the situation. He then followed off that stating "you think I don't have 60 dollars to give you, I'm just giving you more value for you" I then replied if I can just get the money back then. He then continued to say "oh so you're broke now, you can't afford a 60 dollar cut." At this point he just continued to go off on a tangent how im incompetent for my age, that I'm acting tough over the phone, and all I wanted was to get my money back , if not I would just write the review. He continued his aggression over the phone and then finally ended the call saying that "I'm a goofy ass n-word". Keep in mind this dude is disrespecting and trying to press a 19 year old. He then sent that text message after the call that I left below. At this point I didn't know what to do. Of course everyone around me is frustrated and there is no way you can call this a good cut and then just fully disrespect me like that. This dude is really dissing a 19 year old lmao. So yea maybe I just had a bad experience with a barber who was only there for a week, reeking of weed. I DIDNT even have an issue with that, but once you have an owner/manager talking to a client that , that just crossed a line. Even on his captions he says the n-word casually as a Hispanic dude but hey that ain't my business. Here's the evidence to show you that text for proof, for how immature this guy was . The phone call I had with him saying all this derogatory was 100x worse and never in my life, an actual business trying to get clients would respond to upcoming clients like this I will be posting this on Yelp and Google too and whatever other review place I can find because never in my life I thought I would be treated like that. read more

I have had a lot of trouble over the years finding a great barber that offered an awesome haircut experience in a clean, inviting shop. My friend recommended this place and I'm honestly really glad I found it. Michael, one of the managers is such a welcoming, helpful, and funny guy who turns me from a messy mop-headed dude into a sexy-ass casanova. He has many years of experience and is an honest down-to-earth guy. The shop itself is always clean because someone is always cleaning! It is a great looking store with comfortable furniture as well as special events during soccer, football, or basketball games. I definitely recommend this place because they know what they are doing. Hands down one of the best shops with the best team giving the best cuts in the SFV. Walk-ins are usually taken almost immediately. The fades are always clean and the lineups are on point!!
